Perfect Size and Quality for Ooni Pizza Ovens
I had a small pizza party this evening and fired up my Ooni Karu 12 with a base of lump charcoal and topped with this wood. Each piece was the right size, fitting easily through the rear fuel door, and each ignited quickly and provided hot, rolling flames. The fire was clean, not leaving annoying soot.Basically, the wood performed exactly as one would expect from qualify, kiln-dried hard wood.As an added bonus, the various species in the mix as traditionally used in Naples. With a quick cook, it likely doesn’t really make a flavor difference, but your guests will be convinced they do it they’re around the oven, sipping their drinks and watching you cook their pizzas, as you explain the history and artistry of the pizzaiolo.

Good Quality Product!
First thing I noticed was the wood quality is very good and I love that it’s an Italian blend. When testing to make some pizza it burned evenly and came out great! Great product would highly recommend

Great wood pack for Gozney Dome
Bought this for my initial firing of a new Gozney Dome pizza oven. Pieces were perfect length, but were a bit on the thinner side (around an 1" in diameter for most of the pieces), which means they burn very quickly once they catch on fire. That being said, it kept a very high temperature while it did burn and gave an excellent flavor overall to the final pizza.I've tried pure oak since then and the flavor just wasn't quite as robust as with the Italian Blend mix, but it could be completely in my head. The smaller pieces do burn quite quickly, so I would recommend burning your solid oak first to get the oven to temperature, and then using these once you start to cook to get the smoky flavors out of the mixed woods.I was happy with the purchase, but this is hands-down the most expensive wood that I've ever bought in my life...

Excellent kiln dried pizza oven wood
I have to begin by stating that I'm a professional chef. My brother owns an Italian restaurant with a professional pizza oven, Italian pizza dough with 00 flour etc.The wood arrived neatly packed with larger pieces and kindling pieces. It's a 4 wood blend that is sustainability harvested 🥰Maple, Oak, Ash,BeechThe wood goes through a vigorous quality control process to ensure the end result is the same with each box.The wood has no mold,no bugs each piece is dried to less than 10% moisture. The results speak for themselves.Look at the two wood burning pizzas and see the performance of this wood in action.Bel Legno! 🤌

Not worth the money
I thought I would try this Italian blend. It’s expensive for what you get. It burns quickly and I mean quickly. I lit it and went inside to assemble my pizza. Came back out, wood burned all the way through and temp dropped dramatically. I had to refill the wood bin 4 times and got 3 pizzas. That’s it!!! Won’t be buying again.

Pizza Wood
Great product but geesh very expensive for the amount you receive. Those are some bougie pizzas given the price of the wood.
