I had a cake stand with a glass dome top until my dog knocked it off the counter and smashed it. I salvaged the stand and was so happy when I found this dome which is a perfect replacement for the one that got smashed. It was well packaged too. I worried about the heavy glass top being broken but it was in perfect shape when it arrived.

I love it but man, it's heavy. This is not the dome that you want to use for food grazing. It's just too heavy and could get dropped if you have kids that will be grabbing treats on the fly. I use this for cakes that will take a while to consume. It's also got a slight blue tint to it but the tint doesn't show once it's placed the stand.

Very large. It does not fit the cake plate I purchased it for but improvised with a large round platter. I love the look and it will be perfect.

I got a tiered cake stand a long time ago, and I needed the cover to complement the largest stand. This looks very nice and is very durable!
