My old Whale manual caravan sink pump kept leaking. I tried one of these to replace it as the price made it worth a punt. At first it dribbled a bit but applying a little sealant in the offending areas helped the pump work well. I was pleased.All was good for over six months then the inlet spigot snapped. See photo. In my setup, the inlet water pipe has to be withdrawn from a container and the side pressure was greater than the spigot could handle. I tried to repair the inlet spigot with Araldite but the fix did not work. As the pump was quite decent I ordered another one and thought more about what had happened. I asked the supplier if I could buy only the screw-in plastic spigot where the inlet pipe goes and they replied to say they do not sell that separately. In a eureka moment, two ideas came to me:1. Find a pipe that would fit over the whole barrel of the pump, not over the not-so-strong spigot2. Use flexible silicone pipe to minimise the sideways pressure when removing the water container under the pump.My silicone tube has arrived and fits perfectly. It is food safe clear silicone tube host 25mm inside diameter. With a jubilee clip to ensure a permanent leak-free connection, my broken pump has come back to life. I will use the repaired pump and keep the second pump I ordered as a spare.Summary: this pump is a worthy replacement to my leaking Whale pump after adding a little sealant and some creative thinking. This is a good step forward as all manual water pumps I research all seem to have terrible reviews. I am sorted.

Product works to the extent of pumping water, but it leaks terribly. Pay for a more premium product unless you want to constantly be mopping up surface water

I used this in my camper van for water from a water container. It is set into the counter top and tightened from underneath. It seems to leak from where the spout enters the plastic housing. I haven't tried to remedy it with anything yet. We'll see whether I can. It'll do for the moment, but needs a sponge underneath the spout to stop it constantly wetting the counter top surface around the tap.

Broke after second use, the top part completely came out.

Pump didn't have any suction. Ordered another which was fine.
