Black Point Products BV-029 White Coax Wall Plate, White

It's a white, cable wall plate. I like the sleek sharp corners and it's white, which is why I purchased it. It's a bit thin so I don't recommend banging things into it or putting it in a high traffic area where it might get banged a lot, but otherwise it's a nice, white, cable, wall plate.

I used to have the TV cable hanging down the wall. After running the cable inside the wall this plate made for a smooth connection.Using new cable from Mediabridge and a bracket from Arlington everything came together nicely.

I purchased this plate mainly because it was white. Coax plates are pretty generic so I'm not sure there is much to say that is special about this plate but I was having trouble finding a white plate at my local home improvement store.

Oh well I guess it would be unfair to give it fewer stars just because it's a rather mundane item; it does do everything I wanted of it, and the quality seems to be OK too.

This wall plate did every thing it was supposed to do. I wish it were a little more substantial (thicker plastic). I had a little extra cable in the box and it caused the plate to buckle as I tightened the screws. Not a problem just had to push the cable out.

Was sent a telephone jack instead of a coax. So I wouldn't know how it works.
