Zodiac Genuine Parts MX8 Direction Control Device Side A, R0524700

My mx8 was stuck in circles. I replaced 1 directional control and it runs great! Took 10 minutes after watching a how to video online!

I have saved a MX6 twice with this replacement. Over time, the vacuum will stay stock in one corner without moving from that spot causing the pool to turn green and white mold grows after. I am happy this worked fine for Zodiac MX6. Easy to replace too. No more laziness. Time for vacuum suction to work well for hours.

I purchased this replacement part from "Water that" 13 months ago. I thought the replacement part went bad already as my MX6 just stopped turning again. However I bought another replacement for R0524700 and that didn't fix the problem this time. I suspect I may now need to replace the Zodiac R0525100 Drive Shaft Assembly now. Fortunately that's around $6-$10. Hopefully I'll have the MX6 working again soon.

Get the original and you will not be disappointed, great product.

encaja muy bien en la Zodiac MX8. la barredora iba muy lenta y con esta pieza a vuelto a funcionar muy bien. observar si al barrer va hacia derecha o izquierda.

Cheaply made and don’t last long. If your machine gets stuck in a corner of the pool or in the ladder it cooks these things. I’ve gone through 5 in the last 2 years. Not exactly a piece of cake to change either....open heart surgery! Design flaw
