Fixed my 10 year old machine in 20 minutes!
I’m a widowed mother of four, I’m learning how to be a bit more handy around the house and growing more confident in my abilities to fix things. My 10 year old LD washer machine started giving me the dreaded PE error code, I tried restarting it, and nothing. I googled, found a YouTube video explaining how to replace the sensor, found this piece on Amazon, it arrived the next day and literally had my washer fixed in 20 minutes.I read a few reviews where it said it wasn’t computable for their LG 6501EA1001R, I’m assuming because the hose is in a different location where it slightly bends being put back into its placement, this doesn’t seem to affect how it well it works on mine. I’ve washed several loads of laundry now with the replacement piece and it works like new. This little $13 piece and a YouTube video saved me from having to spend hundreds on a new machine!

Great replacement for LG top load washer
Great replacement for LG top load washer. Was easy for me to install. Photos are of the manufacturer part that was replaced.

Easy fix
My LG washing machine (model WT7305CW) is only a couple of years old, so I was pretty dismayed to see it was already malfunctioning with a "PE" error on the screen. Removed about 3 screws from the top back of the machine, popped the plastic cover off and replaced this part. I used the existing hose. Takes about 10-15 minutes, and I'm back up and running.

Not compatible with 6501EA1001R
Stop titling this to be compatible with 6501ea1001r, its not. This part could not be installed in my LG washer. My washer requires the 6501EA1001R model, but this part is 6501EA1001C. The orientation of the tube and the electrical connector in the "C" model is not compatible with my washer. In the "R" model, the tube and electrical connector point the same direction. In the "C" model they are oriented about 45 degrees apart. The photo shows the difference between the original "R" model that was in the washer, and the "C" model purchased from Amazon. The listing shows both part numbers but the actual part is the "C" model.
