Really amazing tool for spring weeding; very pleased with results
When winter leaves Wisconsin, it's time for spring clean up....weeding, cleaning up windfall, getting my garden in spring shape. I have arthritic hands and pulling weeds and grass out of my beds is painful. This claw is so helpful. It was great for clearing off a thatch of dead grass and debris. Even more useful for loosening up the soil and digging out weeds by the roots. A job that would normally take me hours was done in 45 minutes.I have a lot of garden tools but this is the most helpful I've seen in a long time. Definitely great for sparing your hands.

nice idea
Bought this for my sons mother on Mothers Day, an avid gardener, and she loves it for being hand to continuously break up the hardened soil around the plants. I was impressed when I saw the demonstration and will buy another for our garden.

Good for smaller jobs
I used this to remove grass/weeds to then lay landscape fabric/rocks down. It did a pretty good and quick job of that. I don't love the claw because it still is manual labor and if you have a lot of clearing away to do, it will take some time. You'll grow tired of the job.It does have an ergonomic motion to it, though, and I was pretty surprised how easily grass/weeds came up. I just think I'll be more apt to use it for smaller jobs.

Hard on my hands.
Works ok but is kind of awkward. I have to put it down after each weed is pull. I prefer a small hand cultivator with arthritis of the hands.

Super Tough & Very Sharp
I bought 2 of these to use in unison for my rose beds & I am very happy with my purchase , I used them yesterday and was pleasantly surprised at how they work , when your working in tight spaces , like around a rose bush but still want to aerate your soil these are perfect for that task , they are made with a super tough plastic that will never rust and they're very sharp , I accidently poked myself with one of the ends and it almost broke the skin , also so they are made in the U.S.A. so your purchase is supporting American jobs , I am one very satisfied customer , Thank You Very Much !!

Enjoy the Claw very much
This is such a handy tool to have, especially to deal with our Floridian grass. Our grass has tendrils that will grow under the plant borders right into the flower beds. The grass roots are very deep. The Cultivator claw just digs right into the earth and brings up unwanted roots. It works well for my arthritic hands, the handle is nice and chunky for me to hold without feeling any pain. I also use it to rake the excess debris from the edge of the plant borders on the grass, does a great job.

Great tool for small areas.
This tool is one of my best recent finds. I am old with bad knees. I have to sit to do low ground work. This tool is perfect for that. How does it work for me? I jab it ground at a fairly rapid pace. This technique losens the dirt so I can plant grass seed. If I hit a spot where the dirt is hard I jab the tool into the ground and pry the dirt lose. You will need to learn the way to hold it that works best for you. Holding it incorrectly can result in blisters.

Useful for weeding flower beds
This definitely helps me weed out shallow weeds in my flower beds efficiently. For deeper or tougher weeds, I have to change my grip on it and lean way over the flower bed to get at them. I think a cultivator with a handle would make this easier, so there's a little more leverage built into the tool design. I still like this tool and will continue to use it - it just doesn't eliminate the need for the more traditional style with the handle.
