Bandage does NOT stay on, needs more adhesive!!
This silicone bandage does NOT have enough adhesive along outside perimeter to keep bandage stuck to my elbow. Had to over wrap with stretch wrap to keep bandage attached to elbow.

Cushioned bandages
Nice cushioned bandage that doesn’t stick to the wound. Can get it wet in the shower but doesn’t stay on in the pool. Less expensive than other brands. Not as thick as other brands.

Silicone dressings for the win
We've been caring for my mother these past 3 months. She came to us with some pressure wounds, and I don't care to admit that I'm learning more than I ever wanted to know about pressure wounds and bandages. Silicone dressings work best with her fragile skin, and these are cushioned and absorbent. They stay put once applied, but they don't pull at her delicate skin when we remove them. This is a box of 12, and after having priced them, I can say that these are a good value for the money. They're good quality for a reasonable price.

Thick Cushioned Non-Medicated Dressing In 4-Inch-Square Bandage
I’ve added these to my larger at-home first-aid kit both for routine use and as an emergency preparedness item. I like the thick and absorptive 2 1/2-inch dressing area that goes over the wound, and the 3/4-inch surrounding adhesive border is adequate to secure this overall non-medicated/sterile 4-inch square bandage in place. Nice that the outer bandage material is water-resistant. My photo shows U.S. Quarter Dollar and ruler for sizing comparison. These are manufactured in China, and are date stamped with what I believe is a recommended 3-year shelf-life. At approximately $1.75 per unit (at time of writing) in a box of 12 bandages, these are not what I’d call inexpensive; however, for convenience and comfort, I find these to be a reasonable value, and have no problems recommending them for appropriate use (included instructions suggest use for pressure ulcers, venous ulcers of lower extremities, diabetic foot ulcers, skin grafts and post-surgical wounds).I hope you noted my comments and photos as helpful in your considerations of this item.

Great Large Bandage
First thing - yes, these measure 4" x 4," however there is a 1 inch border of adhesive part around the wound pad. This means that the wound you apply it to should be no more than 2" x 2."I bought these because my six-year-old daughter rides an electric dirt bike at full speed and has a love of jumping dirt hills. Despite her pads, it is only a matter of time before she scuffs her knee or elbow and we need a large, quality bandage. Despite me buying these for her, I have had the pleasure of using one. These bandages are soft, sort of squishy, and do not hurt coming off (even on my arm hair it was rather gentle). The pad did not stick to my wound and did a great job absorbing blood. It contoured well to my arm and had enough flex where it was not uncomfortable when I bent my arm. These are quality bandages and a must have for daredevils and first aid kits.
