William J. Seymour was definitely a man of God! As I was reading, I was paying careful attention to his words and he definitely is teaching/preaching the unadulterated Word of God! His chapter on marriage is on point whether the present day church wants to believe it or not smh. I DON'T LIKE THE WAY THE PUBLISHER TRIES TO TELL THE READERS OF TODAY THAT THE CHURCH REALLY SHOULDN'T TAKE SEYMOUR'S MARRIAGE VIEWS TO HEART; THE DEVIL IS A LIAR!!!! GOD'S WORD DOES NOT CHANGE!!! LIKE I SAID, SEYMOUR WAS MOVED AND SPOKE AS THE HOLY SPIRIT GAVE HIM KNOWLEDGE CONCERNING MARRIAGE AND WHAT HE WROTE CONCERNING MARRIAGE IS RIGHT, POINT BLANK PERIOD!! This is definitely a good book to have if you are serving Jesus in Spirit and in His truths!

It was nice to know that their doctrines and disciplines were very biblical. The disciplines may seem strict by today's standards but they are fully biblical. Very informative concerning the foundation of this movement to counter any criticism of doctrinal error. If interested in such, a very good read.

Since I am Apostolic Pentecostal, it was very interesting to read about the beginnings of the Azusa Street ministries.

A well done job of putting the doctrines and disciplines of Azusa Street Mission in easy to read order. If you are interested in the Azusa Street Revival this is a must read. It will show you just how God centered this revival was.
