They are the size of a plastic scrub. They are a combination of soft and soft bristle material. It didn't feel rough to the touch with soap on unless you applied pressure for a deeper clean. I would not recommend going at your skin like your pots and pans. lol. But it did remove the deep skin and leave my skin feeling refreshed.

Love these for bathing! They turn soft when wet and with frequent use. I feel cleaner when I use them.

I bought these a few months ago and am still using the first one. It has gotten softer over time but still remains plenty abrasive for exfoliating. I use it about every 2-3 days, some may find it slightly too abrasive as a daily. It has remained intact and has not had any mold or any kind of issues. My skin feels great and they're much better then the cheap plastic ones. Big win.

It's great for exfoliating and for getting ingrown hairs out from under the skin. My strawberry legs have been looking clearer. It's a good size to hold in your hand. The one problem that I have is that it smells a little odd. After a couple times of using it, the soap hasn't masked the smell. Thankfully, the smell doesn't transfer to my skin.All of the one-star reviews about it being "flat" are hilarious! They puff right up after soaking in hot water for 2 minutes. They feel a little rough without soap, but nothing damaging. With soap, it's a nice, comfortable lather. I have ezcema, and I can say they haven't helped or worsened it. Just don't use it over the areas you have scabs. I also haven't tried it on my face as my skin is sensitive, and I feel like it would be too rough for my face.The loofas come with clear instructions, so follow those and you'll have a great product!

I had always purchased the larger loofahs in the past but am now hooked on the smaller version. I usually try to use a loofah way beyond its natural life and it would look like a mop by the time I replaced it. The smaller version will probably succumb to the same fate but with its smaller size, it fits into all of my nooks and crannies better. I didn't even realize I was neglecting them with a loofah until now. Between my toes, my pits, behind my ears and any other nook you can think of - this little guy does the job. While loofahs in general tend to be slightly on the abrasive side, you feel squeaky clean at the end of the shower. I have yet to finish with the first of this three pack so I am hoping these will hold up as well as the big ones did.

These work fine but look nothing like the picture. They stay flat and don't change shape when wet.

I’m never going back to cheap plastic after switching to these eco-friendly loofahs! They arrive flat but pouf up quickly after running under warm water. A little rough the first couple times but get significantly softer with bar soap and use over time. I love the exfoliation for my skin and will definitely be using natural loofahs from now on!
