Island Breeze Gauze White, Fabric by the Yard

Light weight, soft and the perfect color for my project to line a summer dressing gown for the heat and humid long summers of the sub-tropics.Pre-washed several yards I bought in hot water, expecting some shrinkage.There was very little shrinking nor extra wrinkling after machine wash & dry.

I used the fabric to make beach pants. I feel they are too thin to be presentable. i recommend this fabric for a skirt

Beautiful fabric; colorfast, deep forest green. Perfect for clothing, as it's not sheer against the body. Washes great, lightweight, soft, very comfy. Only thing to note is that it is not 52" wide - it's only 43" (washed on delicate with cold water, tumble dried low heat). Thankfully I bought extra, but be aware.

It’s a beautiful color and crepe-material, super easy to work with. It’s slightly see-through, but my pattern involved bunching the fabric, so that wasn’t an issue for me. Light weight and breathable, worth the money

I love this type of fabric. As someone who has little sewing knowledge, I love using this fabric to make easy yet flattering dresses for larp events! This time I got a little creative and used 2 colors instead of one and I’m so please. This fabric is cheaper (most colors anyway) that Joann, and it comes in more color variety! I will definitely purchase more! Also I ordered 3 yards and it came as one continuous piece of fabric, which I was afraid it might comes as 3 individual yard pieces. The light pink is definitely sheer but I expected that.

The fabric is decent, but definitely thin! Also it absolutely stinks (like old dirty laundry stinks) so be ready to wash it when it arrives!

Lovely summer fabric -- I recommend it for any sewing needs. It can be for tops, pants, pajamas -- for casual at-home wear but also for public wearing of garments. Nice weight and easy to work with.

Right now if you're wanting to sew a nice garment for summer it's kind of hard to shop with the pandemic going on. I wanted a nice cotton fabric to make a tunic that would keep me cool but stylish. This gauze fabric was just what I was looking for and a very nice price per yard, just under $5.00 @ yard. Other places I searched for this fabric was over double Ben Textiles price. I was looking for something I didn't have to iron, like crinkle cotton. This fabric is not too thin or thick. They have a nice variety of color choices. I chose white because I have some beautiful white crochet lace I'm going to use on it. I searched other places online and didn't find a reasonable price like theirs. This fabric washed and dried beautifully.
