Easy to use and LOTS of heat
Woke to a power outage this morning, and really didn’t mind as I have had this stove awhile and hadn’t used it yet. Grabbed an open can of butane and had it installed and lit in seconds. Having experience with the Other guys (magnetic attachment of cans), let me tell you that I quickly appreciated the security and simplicity of this mechanical lock! At very low gas flow, I had a nice, efficient, blue flame with very small, yellow tips. Cranked to high, I had flames that will easily cover the bottom of my largest pots if I want to do a crab boil outside. This flame was less efficient, but certainly adequate for my occasional needs. And it REALLY threw some heat! Strangely, the least efficient flame (the most yellow) came somewhere in the middle of the range. In spite of that, I quickly made a pot of coffee, then cooked sausage, and finally eggs. The can was nearly empty when I started, but I had just enough to finish all this. In my other stove, I do not think I could have even finished the coffee. Nice stove, plenty of heat for anything you might consider a one-burner task - and many two-burner tasks as well!

No regret purchase for me
Worked as expected and if the size it right for you, I'd say give it a shot. I had some concerns as a buddy with the less expensive model experienced melting of his pot support arms, but even at full blast with double the heat output there were no such issues with this model. Easy hookup for both propane bottles and butane. The pot holder was sturdy. Piezo ignition works well. Cooking surface is large enough for a medium size cast iron skillet. Burner isn't huge so it might have trouble with a large pan. Handled my percolator coffee maker just fine, as well. Heat output was great and easily controllable. The wind guard won't protect you from actual wind, of course, but it does help with calmer breezes.

Love it, works perfectly.
This thing is awesome. Being able to switch between butane and propane is super useful. Quality is great, easily locks into either container. Adapter works perfectly for propane, love it.

Great product, be mindful of the wind and keep it clean!
This has been awesome! We really only use it to boil water and an occasional sautee but, at close to 10k ft in Colorado. It has worked perfectly every time. It's not so good in the wind but, still works. Just remember to keep it clean!

Self ignite does not work
It cooks pretty fast, overall a great product. Except the self ignite doesn't work at all. My friend has a same model and he has the same problem. I used lighter during my camping.

Reliable, sturdy, easy to use
This sturdy little stove was a replacement for my butane-only stove of a very similar design. The propane adapter is easy to install and uninstall. Now I can cook hot meals in winter! My only complaint is that the pot supports were pretty slippery, but I imagine that with more use that slipperiness should subside.

RV Friendly. Great Portable Stove
We purchased this stove in order to have a little extra cooking service outside of our fifth wheel. This stove is so powerful that we were able to steam 20 crabs in a large pot of water. So far, this stove has exceeded our expectations. Yes, I would recommend this purchase.

Good for propane use, worth the money in general
I need the propane option and use that all the time. ( I roast green coffee beans). I have two other stoves, which do not work for this purpose. One is butane only and is too expensive. The second is a cheap version by gas one, like this. I do not recommend that stove for two reasons: it has a hose to connect to the propane instead of metal. The hose seems dangerous. Also it is rated at lower BTU because the burner has fewer holes and is cheaper construction. That makes it hard to control and wasteful. This one works very well for me with propane. Attaching the adapter is a little funky. There is a notch that has to match up, but once you get that, it feels safe. The burner has many more holes, giving much better flame control and better heat output. I do not recommend any other propane version, for safety reasons. No rubber hoses! This one costs more, but if you need the functionality, it is worth it. And just a note. For cold weather use, Propane is much better than butane because butane does not vaporize below 31 F. In other words if the cylinder gets a little below freezing, it will not work. This is not true for propane.

Didn't try with butane as the point was to use it for propane. The propane pipe is too fragile, should have come with a flexible hose to connect to a 1lb propane. To make it even worse, GasOne can't even say what the fitting is to replace the propane pipe with a flexible hose, and refuses to advise on any hose that would connect to a 20lb propane tank without the fragile pipe thing. To top it off, can't return it. What a waste.
