Pro Chest Strap - Heart Rate Monitor Belt

Started getting erratic and no readings from my heart rate monitor and battery replacement was not helping. The only thing I had not done up to that point to try and get it to work was replaced the strap. Polar products are awesome however they don’t last forever. The strap is probably going to be replaced before anything else. After replacing the strap, my H 10 heart rate monitor worked as expected. These are pricey, however, they are absolutely essential in the correct operation of your monitor. Most likely the thing that led to the downfall of my original strap was it was accidentally run through the clothes wash. Never do that.

I purchased this upgraded Polar HR Monitor strap because the earlier design was very erratic and unreliable, rendering very noisy HR data while spinning on a stationary bike. This new strap renders very stable and consistent HR numbers at beginning (no sweat, dry skin), middle (some perspiration, moist skin) and end of grueling workout (heavy perspiration, wet skin). Highly recommend for the price.

This replaced a strap that was about 4 years old and had been used everyday. This was a direct replacement and was exactly the same as the original.

I'm a big guy and I needed an XL strap for my Polar H10. This was the best option, and it fits with room to spare. After sizing to Polar recommendations (6" gap when loosely wrapped around the chest), and clicking it shut, it practically disappears. In fact, after a workout I find myself checking to see if I have removed the strap or not! Very comfy, very well made, with "grippy strips" on the inside to improve fit. You won't be disappointed.

This is actually a replacement for the original one I purchased, I lost the monitor connector, dooohhhhhh! It works great, is very accurate, and the chest strap is very easy adjust. It's also very easy to set up, instructions for use are simple and easy to follow, and the Polar Flow app on my smart phone is also very easy to use and has lots of functions. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of durability, on the previous monitor chest strap, one of monitor probes tore out from the strap when I went to remove the connector. Pull at that gently, you shouldn't have to, but if you get too aggressive, then you might have an issue.

Yes, this genuine Polar strap is almost 3 times as expensive as some aftermarket straps offered on Amazon. I purchased one of those, and it did not fit Polar products as advertised. In the photo, Polar strap on top, aftermarket strap on bottom. The issue is with the wide plastic surround on the aftermarket snaps which prevent both snaps from being attached at the same time. Amazon took that one back. So not wanting to go through the returns process multiple times, I stepped up and bought this genuine Polar strap. Glad I did. Not only does the heart sensor snap easily into place, this strap has what looks like about 1/3 longer rubber signal pickup than on the original strap. The result is a signal that never acts crazy or drops out. The clasp has been changed from the hook & loop of the original to a snap-fit design that can be operated with one hand. I wish it were less expensive, but I guess you really do get what you pay for.

価格の安い中華物も出回っていますが、肌に直接つけるものなので純正品を選んでいます。モチベーションを上げる的なものです。安いものでもよほど品質が悪くなければちゃんと心拍はとれますから、消耗品と思えばそっちでもいいのでしょうけど、私は30年以上Polar製品ばかり使ってきてるので、メーカーを応援するためにも純正品を買うようにしています。 お値段は少々高いですけど、細かい部分の作りや素材はいいですよ。毎日2〜3時間使っても手洗い、タオルで軽く脱水、陰干しをこころがければ1年は持ちますから、本気で運動している方なら許容範囲の価格だと思います。

Decent chest strap, nice tight fittings for the monitor. It is comfortable to wear and with regular cleaning (in the shower, not washing machine) has worked faultlessly (Dec 2025) since its first use (March 2025). Double check the size, they tend to be on the small side.
