2nd one in a yr, repeat customer
I bought this case 1 yr ago and it has done well to protect the phone, especially for drops. Face it, drops happen. So you need a case that will protect the phone. The old case when compared to the new case had yellowed a bit, but it wasn't noticeable on the phone. The reason I replaced it is because the sections from the edge to the usb and earphone jack had come off and the corners were starting to separate. For a sub-$10 case, I'll take that! I like that it's clear, relatively thin, and protective.

Good protection
I took a star off from the get go because the product was advertised as new but came with a light smudge/ scratch on the back corner. The packaging looked like it had been opened before. There was even a short strand of hair under the phone case! For the phone case itself, it is light and slim with all the properly located and sized access to the camera lenses, power button etc. I have not dropped my phone on a hard surface with this case on yet, but it looks like it'll protect the phone just fine.

Durable Protection
This is my second Speck and both have proven to be durable and easy to remove from the mobile for cleaning. It's both rigid enough to provide good protection when I happen to drop my phone, and soft ridges it the right spots, making it less likely that the phone will slip out of my hand in the first place. If the construction remains the same, I will always buy a Speck. Great product.

Decent case for little money
I've had it for two months now, and so far it has done it's job quite well. I've dropped my phone a few times and it's been fine. If anything, I wish it had more texture to it to make give me a better grip. That, however would make the case less clear - which defeats the purpose of having a clear case to show off the stickers underneath.Overall, it's a GREAT case for the money.

The WOW Factor is Here!!
Bought this for 5Bucks. Thought I was getting a bit of 'junk' for an old phone. Not So. This is my very best looking case for sure. Pumped new life into this phone. Very pretty case best looking on four phones I have. Doesn't come with protective glass but bought it cause I didn't need one.

Great protection, even with many drops.
I have now owned three of these cases and I have been very happy every time. I am prone to dropping my phone, but have never damaged a phone inside a Speck case. My second case did crack at the corner after several drops, but my phone was intact.Eventually the slightly rough texture of the hard plastic shell loses its roughness, which does affect the grippiness slightly. Still, this is the best case I have found for being able to slide in and out of my pocket easily, but not slide easily out of my hand.

works perfectly
my old LG V20 case fell apart at the corners so my phone was slipping out of it. so glad to be able to buy a new case, a colorful one, and from a small business. would support this store forever if i could

I like it
I also have the Speck Presidio Clear and Tech21 Evo Check. All are worthy cases; there's not much that makes one a clear winner. The Speck are slightly less flexible and the Tech21 slightly more; this doesn't make a difference to me personally, but I mention it if it's important to you.Ultimately, I use the Grip, as it has the highest drop rating (10ft, rather than 8ft or 2m), though the others may be as good in practice. At around $4, the Grip is a steal.Update: after a little time has passed, the rubber has started to peel on the front near the corners. This seems to be a cosmetic issue, rather than a functional one.Update 2: As time has gone on, the two layers have started to separate at a couple spots, and small pieces of the the harder outer layer have broken off (though the case is still functional overall).
