Added this to a clear iPhone 14 case, since the Popsocket I purchased wouldn’t stay on magnetically. Attached it to the outer part of the case, using the clear template to align it properly. Made sure to press the entire magnet surface onto the case for a few minutes before I attached the accessory. What a grip! I have to pry the accessory off with my fingers now, as the magnet is strong. Prior to getting this, I could slide the pop socket from side to side on the case easily-there was no adhesion.Don’t hesitate to get one of these to make your mag-safe case truly mag-compatible.

I purchased this late Feb 2023 and it is early May, so just a few days over 2 months and the metal ring is peeling off of my case. The case was brand new spigen case recommended for use with this ring adapter. I cleaned it and followed the instructions, and it is now coming off. What a piece of junk! I'd encourage anyone to not purchase this ring and look for something better.Received great customer service they sent a new one and it peeled off as well. Bought a case with magsafe built-in and much happier.

The media could not be loaded. This spigen ring really sticks to my phone case. I am using a Mous Clarity case.Update- 7/29/22 Made it 3 months before the ring came off my phone case. Used super glue to reattach.

I bought this to add MagSafe capability to an iPhone 16e. The adapter ring itself is sleek, and the magnets are strong. But the glue is a big flaw; it is so weak, that the ring couldn't come off the guiding plate during installation.Fortunately, I intended to install this under a dbrand skin which is holding it in place much better. This problem should still be addressed, as most people are installing this on the exterior of their phone cases.

I tried out a few different products with the goal of making a non-MagSafe case compatible with my MagSafe charger and car mount. This one had the thinness I was looking for but I saw other reviews saying the adhesion is not good, so I was wary. As expected per other reviews, the adhesion is too weak to withstand the strong magnetism of my mounts & chargers, which immediately ripped this metal piece off my phone case. The magnet of this adapter was not strong enough at all to go inside my case unfortunately, but it’s thin enough to not be an annoyance while holding my phone. When the adhesion did not stick to my case, I decided to use gorilla glue to attach it to my phone case. This allowed the adapter to stick to my case without being ripped off at all, and worked with my MagSafe charger.So TLDR; this adapter works very well for why I bought it, but had to be adhered via gorilla glue to stay attached to my case. I’m very happy with it’s functionality.

Easy to install.

I have Samsung S20, Xperia 1 IV, and LG V20. Immediately out of the box, it doesn't work with the spigen mag safe charger. After trying to put it on my phone, didn't stick correctly the first time and then adhesion completely failed. Ordered another one and similar experience. Doesn't work out of the box with a magsafe spigen product. Installed it with more pressure than expected. It finally sticks and works without a case. but when charging my phone heats up. Tested with multiple products. Doesn't work through a spigen case. Just get an iphone already. MagSafe isn't coming to android

First of all I like Spigen as a brand…but the adhesive on this ring is just…well…terrible… your bang for buck option for sure but there is just no way that I will buy this product again unless they include a second ring with the product. My main issue is I also don’t have a see-through case I know that this product advertises that it works on any case and it does however you need to scale up the sizing chart that is included off of your face phone and then apply maybe a quarter of a tick mark to your case depending upon which case you use. My rhino shield case which is a fantastic case, minus the fact that it doesn’t support MagSafe accessories isn’t see-through. When it came to applying this there was just a few extra steps but everything mounts up fine, I have a perfect connection and my Anker pack as well as my wallet connect perfectly with the magnets on my base phone. With all that being said however applying with an alcohol prep pad, dust strip, and another alcohol prep pad as well as drying with a microfiber towel, I then applied pressure to the product attached to my phone case for 30 minutes with a field bible I had from the military…even then, I attempted to test the magnetism on the product and it ripped 1/4 of the product off! I then reapplied the product (yes it is compromised at this time) however, I then realized too that adhesive and heat (which is generated from charging pucks and battery backpack power banks) will also degrade the product over time (also not great for battery) so! With that being said…Rhinoshield…make a MagSafe compatible case…Spigen…add either an additional ring or upgrade the adhesive…and DO NOT rip MagSafe devices from the strip! Swipe to the side or down to remove from device! Otherwise…you’ll end up reapplying each n every time.
