For context, I’ve had this product over a year now.So my initial concern was that the solar panel wouldn’t be quite upto the job in the English sun. I was wrong, the panel is placed in an area which gets some direct sunlight for a few hours (4 or so) during the summer months. This was enough to keep the camera supplied with power for almost a year. Only once during the winter months did I have to remove the camera and bring it indoors to charge. Which for the price is absolutely fine with me.The video quality is surprisingly good, the audio isn’t amazing, but you can hear all you need to. It reminds me of audio where the bit rate is low, so sounds little compressed. The motion sensitivity is pretty good, it picks up people within a second or so of them entering the detection area, the night vision capability is also as good as night vision can be for a cheap project. Install and set up was simple and it works with my other camera via the cloudedge app. Would I buy again, absolutely!

Picture quality is very good . Colour quality also very good . Had a slight problem with recording area and cloudedge app but dekco customer service resolved this very quickly many thanks to brady from customer services for your swift response and help i would reccomend decko products high quality, and fantastic customer services are there if you ever need them. cloudedge app is fair but once you have a play around with it you will soon pick it up .night vision is also very clear viewing .i also found this Easy to install . I fully charged camera before installing it and found the solar panel has held its charge very well .

Has been fixed high where it can scan the rear garden for intruders. It looks pretty robust, and the solar panel keeps the battery fully charged. The CloudEdge app that it uses is common to other devices and is rightly regarded as good. At the moment this has not yet been linked in to my mobile phones and simply goes to a self contained tablet [ where it performs robustly on test] , so I am not able to report how it might perform in anger [ hence a cautious 4* rating], but I see no reason why it should be any different from another make that guards the front of the house, and which is undoubtably pretty hot. I didn't realise that the app worked everywhere there is wi-fi until one day it pinged in the local Sainsbury 5 miles away to tell me that my daughter was on the front doorstep, and I was then able to instruct over the voice link where where the key was secured. This particular make DEKCO keeps telling me that the wifi where it is has low signal strength [ about 50%], but seems to work well nevertheless.

This is a very good solar camera with clear pictures and an excellent seller who advised me info in setting up camera.🤓👍👍

The camara works pretty good. Don’t like the feature that you have to sign in then wait for it to respond. More help with the instructions would be helpful but if you contact the supplier they will give you all the support you need. Very helpful.

When they're working, it's fantastic. Unfortunately, in a few months both cameras seem to have lost the ability to charge. Solar panels are wiped weekly, and the cameras are only accessed weekly...Am waiting to hear back from Support...

Very easy to install. Quality of video & sound quality excellent. With the solar panel for charging & video accessible via app, this unit doesn't require any cables that need drilling etc. Use CloudEdge app to view footage & other settings.

Ok, for what it is it works well.I also have the main powered round dome tracking camera, of which is so much better.The connection came be hit and miss, some times it takes 3 to 4 goes for connection, and then to see footage also the same. By the way it has from 90% to 70% wifi. The picture is good, but the night vision reaches less than the other camera, whether due to battery power?I have on max sensitivity and I will activate at about 4 to 5 meters.At the moment the battery a nd solar panel seems good, but it is in a low activation area.Goodfor any place as long as can get sun light for solar plate.Set up was very easy.

I have owned a couple of different cameras for home security and this one has produced great pictures with clarity, app is easy to use and the standby time on the camera has been great! I thought it might need a charge every 1 or 2 days, but in reality it can go weeks without charging. Mind you that I use it at home so perhaps there is less traffic activated motion recording.Here comes the amazing part, I have bought the unit and this is an outdoor unit. I have tried to change the angle of the camera from trying to pivot the unit. I guess I over did it and the connecting bolt was stripped therefore causing the unit to loose grip of the anchor. I emailed the vendor and in the hopes of buying a replacement bolt, the vendor don't sell the part, so instead, the vendor mailed me a replacement NEW unit!! I received a reply email within 24hours of emailing them the problem. I received the new replacement unit within 2 days after they said they sent it to me. I was speechless and I think I will likely be buying more of these cameras.CheersDave

These work really well. And the cloud service offered is very economical, especially when compared to other brands. Or you can use an SD card for free continuous monitoring. Before using these, I used Zmodo cameras (I still have a couple of those). Their cloud service is expensive, plus their cameras quit working after a couple of years. So far, this brand has been working flawlessly plus they're easy to setup!

既に屋外で1年半以上使用していますが、今のところは問題なく稼働しています。外出先からの状況確認や遠隔でのスピーカー音声、会話もできています。直射日光の当たる車庫の屋根下に取り付けてますが、昨年の炎天下の中でも、真冬の寒さの中でも止まる事なく映像も見れてるし、録画もできてます。

I've had this camera for 18 months and it has preformed beyond expectations. Excellent value for the cost involved, excellent picture, good motion detection, excellent PTZ feature, etc. The solar panel keeps it charged easily with no power issues (mid-Florida location). Relatively simple to install/setup (one caveat - the reset button is opposite of what's labeled). The app was easy to set up on my phone (Motorola G7) and provides all the features that I need. My only wish is that they would offer an app for intel based PC's, otherwise it's working fine on my phone.
