This Diet Works and It's Easy to Follow!
I really like this book and can testify to how well the Sweet Potato Diet works. Since Michael told me how the diet works, I started replacing starchy white carbohydrates with sweet potatoes, and now I'm wearing smaller pants and have had to tighten up my belt by two notches. The biggest challenge was figuring out different ways to prepare and incorporate sweet potatoes into my diet (growing up, we only prepared them one way - with salt and butter). That seemed to be a common theme whenever I mentioned to friends that we should make something with sweet potatoes ("I like them, but how do you make them?"). This book solves that problem - it's loaded with tasty recipes and makes it really easy to replace normal carbs with sweet potatoes. Best of all - it's a sustainable diet you can follow for years because it doesn't leave you craving foods like the overly restrictive diets do.

My wife, who is the most critical foodie, runs a restaurant dedicated to serving healthy food and I thought, "let's put this baby to the test". She made a batch of Michael's Sweet Potato Chili and Sweet Potato Cookies (step by step straight from the book, no deviance) and - roll drum, please....boom! We were both impressed! She likened it to her own award winning chili, but with the added benefit of the sweet potatoes which she never thought of; and for dessert the cookies were on point - soft, moist and incredibly delicious. I'm rambling on here and I can continue but here's the deal -- GET THIS BOOK! Or get the audio version; it doesn't matter, just get the knowledge that's in this creation into your mind and into your life and you won't be disappointed. Yes I'm a Morelli fan; yes, I'm a carb lover and yes, I am now a Sweet Potato Head!

This man, this book, you need it!!!
No words can describe how inspirational, thoughtful, caring, and knowledgeable Michael is. He has helped me along with so many others get their life on the right track through nutrition, training, and positive mindfulness. I have been waiting for this book for so long now. At last, I can dwell into the best carb out there: the sweet potato. This books is fabulous with wonderful recipes, tips and tricks, and ways to incorporate this superfood into your diet. This might be one of the most sustainable and productive diets possible. A must-have for anyone!

Did anyone edit this Book?????
I am changing my review since Michael was nice enough to add the recipe corrections (see below) Other than that issue, I think this is a good book so I am changing my 2 stars to 4 stars. I was very excited to read about this book and to order and recieve it. My issue is that the author apparently did not have anyone edit the recipes. Here are a few of the recipes I have issues with: Crushed Sweet Potatoes - says bake 15 mins but never gives a temperature. Sweet Potato Breakfast Hash says add sweet potato and onion to skillet but there is no mention of onions in the recipe. Cauliflower & Bacon Soup has no cauliflower or bacon in the ingredient list. I haven't checked other recipes to see if there are other errors but these are just a few of the recipes I was going to try and found errors. I am hoping on his website that the author sends out recipe corrections after having someone edit the recipes Until then, I am concerned with all the errors, how valid is the diet itself??!! I am going to try it cause it is an exciting concept but please, please update the recipes and post corrections for those who already purchased copies of the book. I am volunteering to edit any future books you publish!! I will also update with any weightloss I have!!!!

Good book, but takes awhile to get to the point
I've been following Michael Morelli on social media for quite sometime. Although, I have enjoyed following his journey, I didn't enjoy this book as much as I'd thought. There were a lot of "okay let me convince you" puns and "haha get this joke here" I felt the publishers could have taken out and cut quite a few chapters off this very lengthy book. The material was tangible and made sense but I got bored after the 3rd chapter and the book has been on a shelf ever since. He is very knowledgable and backs up what he says with his personal results. It was hard for me to stay interested is all I'm saying.There are photos of the beginner at-home exercises you can do, so if you are buying this book as a 100% new beginner this book may be helpful for you. Personally, I just wanted to know how to fine tune my results. I don't know if I will ever be as thrilled about sweet potatoes (before or after reading this book) as Michael Morelli!

I trusted Michael Morelli Jr. with my health and wellness goals over 17 months ago and he has never failed me. His genuine love, compassion and investment in others success is what fuels him every day. The hard work and love that he put into writing this book is evident by the content it contains. Thank you to Michael’s philosophy on clean eating and eating to support your wellness goals, I know that I will never have to suffer through another “diet” plan again. I enjoy my many meals each day and I have learned how to be an amazing cook!! Knowing what to eat and how much to eat has never been so easy. Depuis que j'ai découvert Michael Morelli et la patate douce, ma vie change positivement ! Il donne de bons conseils en sport, en nutrition et les compléments qu'il a élaborés sont sans produits chimiques ! Es un buen libro. Muy orientativo para el que desee hacer dieta por si mismo. Explica todo lo que cambias, por qué y las formas de cumplir metas. Eso sí, es muy largo!
