This is my favorite collagen because it is marine based and I prefer that over bovine ones. It is a bit hard to dissolve in water so I recommend adding to a smoothie if you can. It is great for the skin and overall collagen support, it is pricey but this company is well known and I think their products are good. It doest have a strong fish taste like other marine based collagen products do and I like that. It helps my skin and gut health so I use it as a part of my regular supplements.

Love this brand! This collagen is so good! Dissolves easily in hot and cool liquids! No flavor has no flavor and no bad after tastes! It definitely helps with joint pain!!

I don’t know how anyone could say this has a fishy smell or taste. It’s completely neutral. I use the unflavored version in my green smoothies with flaxseed and avocado. Absolutely delicious with no bad taste or grainy texture.

While I don't think it has a fishy smell or taste, it does slightly alter the taste of what ever you mix it into. I tried it mixed into a glass with a strawberry watermelon flavor packet and water, stirred to mix and then added ice. It just tasted less sweet, but not fishy. The second time, I mixed it into a room-temp 8 oz bottle of Gatorade Zero (grape flavored). Same thing as before, it just tasted less sweet. Both times I used 1 Tablespoon of the collagen and not the included scoop (because it was all the way at the bottom and I didn't want to fish it out (no pun intended); and each time the collagen dissolved with no issues. With that being said, I probably will not be adding this to my morning coffee, and stick with mixing it into a fruity type of drink. I have only used this product twice, so I cannot say how or if it has improved my skin, hair or nails. ----------------------------------------------- Updated Aug. 31, 2025: I have used this product off and on since the original review. Still most of the container left. It still mixes well into water, and does not have a fishy taste. Still not brave enough to try in my morning coffee. I haven't noticed a considerable difference in my hair, but I have been using new hair care products & men's rogaine so there is that helping. I have set a timer in my phone, so I can remember to take this every day to really see if it helps before ordering another tub.

Taste as fish so can’t add to anything or just few portions.

It dissolves well in water unlike other brands and has no off smell. With all collagen products, I can't tell if it is truly working or not but I'd like to think it works for healthy nails in the very least.

This is really a top grade product. It is only collagen without any other compounds added. It is the only collagen that I could find that actually lists the amino acid profile of the contents. This is what I was looking for. All the amino acids I was looking for where there. I've had a problem with my skin for over 2 years - undergoing treatment with a plastic surgeon 3 times a week. The missing piece deal with my condition was Collagen. It was just what was required to get me the last 10 yards over the finish line. It is very, very expensive. Now that my skin condition is under control I use another collagen that costs one fifth of the price (with all kinds of added stuff that I am already taking i.e. zinc, vit b, vit c, etc.). It is a very good product if you can afford it.
