Fixed the diverter module leak
Installed on a KitchenAid KDTE334GPS0 dishwasher. I added teflon tape and a little waterproof grease for good measure (peace of mind). It’s been holding steady for > 1 month.

Fixed the leak
I had to remove the part this was on in order to swap out the motor. The mere removal caused this to no longer offer a water tight fit. Replaceing it was super easy and dishwasher no longer leaks.

Still leaks
This has the diverter motor listed as a compatible part. It still leaks. Does not make a good seal. Very frustrating when you're trying to get something done in a timely manner.

Cheap fix to leaking dishwasher
If you check the internet for videos on fixing a leaky dishwasher, you’ll see many that identify a worn out seal like this one. Worked great on my Kitchenaid dishwasher even though it was a little thicker than the original.

Seems to work, after a modification
My Whirlpool WDT720PADM2 was leaking water down through the diverter motor onto the floor, so I bought this to replace the grommet that the diverter motor shaft inserts through. The original grommet contained a small, circular spring inside it, so I transferred that to the replacement. My guess is that it adds just a little more pressure so that the hole wall in the grommet hugs the diverter motor shaft just a little more tightly to keep water out. This, however, didn't stop the leaking. I wasn't sure which direction the grommet was supposed to face, since it looks different than the original one, so I tried it the other way, but it still leaked. And by "leak" I mean water visibly dropped onto the ground as soon as the recirculation pump started going. So then I wrapped the grommet in 4-5 rotations of teflon tape, installed it (it fit much more tightly this time), and that seemed to do the trick. I've ran 4-5 loads through the dishwasher now and it hasn't leaked. Can I consider this a permanent fix? I'm not sure... on one hand, teflon tape is used to seal joints in pipes for the life of the pipe, so you'd think it would hold up. But on the other hand, the environment in the dishwasher is harsher than in a pipe, so who knows? But for now, at least, it is fixed.

Fits my Kitchen Aid KDTM354DSS5
It was a little taller than the original part but it works. It had the little round spring as well though it's hard to see. This cheap part stopped the leak and saved me hundreds! Installing it was fast & easy.

Fit well
This grommet fit well in my 2015 year Kitchenaid dishwasher. Easy to install and the price was great. Unfortunately, I have found other leaks so looks like it’s time for a new dishwasher.

Slightly smaller OD than it should be
The seal looks like the original from our Kenmore dishwasher as far as material and color, but the dimensions are different. The inside dimension (ID) was smaller although ours was worn and leaking. The ID was fine however as the diverter motor shaft fit well. The outer dimension (OD) was the reason I only gave the seal 3 stars. The OD was smaller so that the seal pushed into place too easy. The original fit would surely have leaked and been quite a bit worse than the original leak because it would have leaked from around the outside of the seal. I wound up applying a thin coat of high-temperature silicone gasket maker before pushing the seal into position. I wiped off any excess silicone and let it cure for more than 24 hours before testing the dishwasher. I ran a quick rinse cycle and had zero leaks. I don’t know how long this will last, so I ordered the $25 (with tax) gold seal that has the great reviews just in case my silicone trick doesn’t work in the long term.
