Douglas Aragon Navy Dragon Plush Stuffed Animal

It was a gift and very cute. Granddaughter loved it.

My youngest son (a few months shy of two) had been stealing his sibling's beloved stuffed animals and wandering around the house hugging them. It was clearly time to buy him his own "stuffie" as the kids call them. I searched various stuffed animals here on Amazon, and tried to get him interested in looking at the options, but he just wanted to push buttons on my keyboard. Until a picture of this dragon showed up. He stopped reaching for keyboard. His eyes shined. "Roar!" he yelled. "Roar!!!!!" "Is that what you want?" I asked. He nodded. I tried navigating away, but he wanted to go back to the picture again and again. 30 dollars seemed a bit steep, but my husband and I both saw how much he loved it. While we waited for his dragon to come, he wanted to look up the pictures several times a day. He would roar softly, and show the pictures to his siblings, and just sit and contemplate the wonder of The Dragon. I printed out a picture for him so he would stop begging to borrow my phone and look at pictures. The Dragon came during his nap. When he woke up, we opened the package and handed him the dragon. His eyes grew wide, and he held out his arms reverently. He touched each toe, and the nose, and the wings, like a mother with a newborn baby. Then he hugged it, and kissed it, and softly roared. Roar-roar is firmer than, say, my daughter's squishmallow. But Roar-roar is still very huggable, and comfortable to sleep with. This is good, because my son announces he's ready for a nap by holding Roar-roar and banging on his bedroom door. Roar-roar has super soft, snuggly fabric that my son loves to pet. Roar-roar is very well made, with quality fabrics and sturdy seams. This is good, because besides being constantly held, Roar-roar goes on a lot of adventures that involve flying through the air, or being swung around by his tail. Roar-roar is just the right size, big enough to hug and find easily, but not too big for carrying around the house constantly. Roar-roar cuddles do not get in the way of playing with Daddy or eating leftover pancakes (as evidenced by the picture). Roar-roar can go for rides in the car. Roar-roar has not been washed yet, but Roar-roar seems capable of going through the wash. Which is good, because Roar-roar often pretends to eat cookies. And Roar-roar gets a lot of sticky toddler kisses.

Colorful. Soft. Stands 11 1/2 inches. Well made. Using for decoration. Fun for kids.

Love this little guy. We added a graduation cap on the dragon for a Graduation gift. They absolutely loved it. We also bought the Silver Dragon as well.

I got this as a Christmas present for my 3-year-old nephew. I was looking for a dragon that wasn't super cartoon-y, and this one fits the bill. It's very cute without being goofy. It feels durable but soft and the color is fantastic. The stitching seems solid, too. We'll see how it holds up against a hyperactive 3-year-old boy, but out of the box I love it. I will try to remember to update my review with anything relevant after it's been played with for a while.

My grandson is a puff the magic dragon fan and this will make a great birthday present along with the book and cd. I love it and the details are gorgeous!

Beautiful looking dragon that looks elegant enough to park a spot in my gal's bed. A good addition for dragon fans.
