Luscious and juicy. If you love apricots, these are for you. California Blenheims are sought out by apricot aficionados California Blenheim apricots are considered by apricot aficionados to be the finest in taste. Our dried Blenheims fit that profile. What makes these dried apricots different from all the others is that the whole apricot is dried with the pit removed. The end result is a juicy, meaty apricot. These are truly gourmet apricots for the discriminating. Available in limited quantities, we obtain these from a small, family-owned farm that actually grows and dries the apricots. The apricots are also processed with a minimum of sulfur dioxide. For that reason, we strongly suggest you refrigerate these goodies taking only the amount needed out of the fridge to satisfy your cravings. Ingredients:Apricots, sulfur dioxide

Best price available!
I lived in Davis, CA for two years and enjoyed the dried fruits available at the farmer's market often! Apricots and peaches being my favorite. When I moved away from CA, I tried to settle for the supermarket Turkish dried apricots and could not stand them! I couldn't figure out what was different until I stumbled across a description of Blenheim dried apricots. It's so hard to get them out of the state of CA! I found a grower that I loved and ordered some from them on sale with reduced shipping, but after that the prices were too expensive for a poor graduate student. These are a PERFECT fit for me. They are cheap, accessible, and delicious! I highly recommend trying Blenheim apricots, they are a different experience altogether! I LOVE them so much! I will be ordering these regularly as long as they are available!

Tastiest California Apricots EVER!
I love California apricots, but the stores around me insist on selling those Turkish or Mediterranean apricots, which to me are tasteless and not even sweet or tangy. These apricots are wonderful, soft, chewy, sweet, tart, and whole. I usually buy Mariani brand because up until now, those were my favorites, but I have to say, these are so much better better! JR Mushrooms & Specialties shipped them super fast and right now they are sold out! I will be buying more as soon as they get them in, hopefully it wont be too long. I will probably get two bags next time. Keeping a bag of these on my desk at work provides me with healthful snacking and keeps me on my diet.

These are the Real Deal! -- Maybe not!!!
**UPDATE** After receiving my order I must edit this review. These are NOT the whole dried apricots I used to get from JR Mushrooms. These are apricot halves and not nearly as good. I am very disappointed. I won't be ordering these again until I find out what happened to the "whole" dried apricots that I used to get.JR Mushrooms has the best dried apricots hands down. I once forgot where I had ordered the good ones and ordered some from somewhere else--they were not good at all compared to these. These are so sweet, tart, and tangy and delicious. I chop them up in cereal or just eat them as a snack with or without some raw walnuts or almonds. Soooo good!

these are the ones
expensive, but if you want good apricots i think these are the ones.they have that nice tangy taste, not quite as tart as NZ apricots, but almost there.what has won me over though is their plumpness; most dried fruit is pretty dried out,but these apricots still have a bit of body to them, and that makes them unique

Very good, just not my cup of tea
These apricots are wonderful whole, plump, sweet, soft apricots. However, they are not tart like the Sunmaid California or Del Monte Pacific dried apricots which I prefer. These are closer in flavor (but better) to the Turkish/Mediterranean style dried apricots. There is no question that this is a high quality product.

Tangy and Delicious
I'm a bit of an apricot snob after my first taste of Blenheim variety apricots from Trader Joe's. However, we don't live near a TJ, so I decided to try these till we made another trip. They taste just as good. I'm an Amazon Prime member and so these seemed to take longer to ship than everything else I order from Amazon. But, they were worth the wait.

Disappointed
Very disappointed - these are brown to black not chewy very close to inedible. Last order was fantastic. Very upset and won't order from this shipper again.

Brown and no expiry
Apricots have arrived and are dark brown and no expiry date on packaging. Obviously old stock as the sulphur dioxide has dissipated turning them brown. At the price point of these apricots they should be perfect.
