Essential for RV Techs: Milwaukee 7-in-1 Pliers
As an RV technician who also handles electrical work, I'm always on the lookout for tools that can streamline my tasks. These Milwaukee 48-22-3078 7-in-1 pliers have become an absolute essential in my toolkit. These pliers are incredibly versatile. They strip wire like a dream, and I've never had any issues with them damaging the wire. The crimping function is also excellent, especially for those smaller gauge DC connectors ("peanut" style) often found in RVs. Beyond that, having the built-in cutters, loop maker, and reamer all in one tool is incredibly handy. It saves me from carrying around multiple tools, and the quality of each function is top-notch. This is especially valuable when working in tight spaces within an RV. Pros: Excellent wire stripping: Clean cuts every time. Reliable crimping: Handles a variety of connectors, including DC "peanut" style. Versatile 7-in-1 design: Combines multiple tools into one. Durable construction: Feels solid and well-made. Comfortable grip: Reduces hand fatigue during extended use. Cons: None that I've found! Overall: If you're an RV technician or anyone who works with electrical wiring, especially in confined spaces, I highly recommend the Milwaukee 48-22-3078 pliers. They're a fantastic all-in-one tool that will make your work much easier.

Somewhat superior to Klein Journeyman
- Milwaukee has crimper, Klein Journeyman does not, at least the sprung ver doesn't - Milwaukee has lock, this is a big ergonomic upgrade - Milwaukee has bypass cutter, makes cleaner cuts. Klein has jaw cutter. - Milwaukee has lanyard loop, Klein doesn't. Doesn't matter for most people, since they aren't working up high. Plier Jaws Some complain about the pliers jaws not closing all the way, but they do not know what they're talking about. For the wire gauges this is for, the jaws close the right amount. These are linesman style pliers jaws designed for gripping and pulling wire, sometimes multiple wires, WITHOUT crushing it. That is why they do not close all the way. They are not for gripping extremely thin pieces of metal, use normal pliers for that, they are for gripping wires, mostly Romex. They grip wire much better than the Klein imo. The Klein journeyman have semi-needle nose jaws which do close all the way and really don't function as needlenose very well due to the thickness of the stripper/cutter portion, they don't have much reach into narrow spaces like electrical boxes, but they do have a bit more than the Milwaukee unless you modify the wide jaws of the Milwaukee by grinding in the front corners of the jaws. Personally, I carry a pair of small needle nose pliers in my pouch for when I need to dig specific wires out of overstuffed boxes, so I prefer the linesman style jaws of the Milwaukee & their superior wire grippage. Both seem fine at rolling wire loops. Strippers work fine on both. Have never had trouble stripping wire with either.

Love these if your on the fence about it just get them
These have been awesome they are well built feel really good and well made in the hand very sharp cutter and strippers the rubber handles are very comfortable and I will be the first to tell you I am not a fan of a lot of Milwaukee hand tools they are just not my favorite but these were recommended to me by a friend and he was right they are awesome one of my favorite tools they make next to the fastback razor blade and I have owned the Klein and knipex version of these and these are the best I would have gave them 5 stars if they had a built in insulated crimper along with the non insulated crimper but I usually use the ratcheting crimpers anyways so I still love them

Best pair I've ever used by far!
Almost got the knipex but couldn't justify the price. I'm super happy with this purchase and glad I got these instead! These are a game changer for wire cutting/ stripping.

These things are amazing but I do keep losing them on job sites. I think they're so great people keep steeling them from me. Don't matter none because I'm ordering another pair as we speak. Maybe I'll find one of the other pairs one day but I doubt it. Somebody probably picked them up and even I see them with them I'm not going to accuse them of stealing them, and who knows if they would even speak English. Hey long story short this tool is amazing and you can't go wrong with Milwaukee. Red or dead baby.
