Great item
Love the quality, and the durability, this item is great for work and lasts.

Great product, could be longer...
As I have noted before, the inches and tenths pairing is a perfect combo. This particular tape is improved by the magnetic foot and the side wings on the foot that hook on the edge. Great for measuring corner to corner when welding up steel squares. The magnetic foot is Invaluable for laying out mounting hardware on the ceiling of a walk-in cooler box. Allows one handed measurement from adjoining walls. These are a compact tape, which I appreciate, as bulkier units tend to come off my belt while I work. The trade off is they are not overly beefy in the "stand out" feature. But I haven't had need of anything better in my work. Again, calling out feet and tenths instead of fractions has expanded the number of guys I can trust to get the cut right. This concept has had a benificial impact on my projects. I like the out door drop resistant plastic units but wish they came longer than 25 feet. I also keep one of the chrome 33 foot units on hand for the longer occasions.

Pretty good
You know how with some tapes you can retract it and you feel and hear the winding mechanism continue to spin inside the case? None of that crap here. The thumb lock clicks into place with satisfying firmness. The texture of the case is fairly "grippy" without making it impossible to remove from a pocket. I've never dropped it, but I've knocked it off my work surface a few times and it doesn't seem to care that it's fallen a few feet onto concrete so the durability seems to be there, at least for now. The markings are high vis and easy to read. Although I haven't use the magnet feature much, the magnets are reasonably strong. The belt clip is SUPER tight (almost frustratingly so haha) so it'll stay put. My favorite feature is the ability to just hang it off the end of a 2by and the weight of the tool keeps the tape taught, but it's not loose enough to fall (see pic). I do NOT have to lock it to do this so I don't have to fiddle with getting the right length. This makes it very easy to scribe a series of marks, but you do need to elevate your board off the floor at least a few inches. My only annoyance is that when set upright the tape doesn't extend straight out. It is angled up slightly (in the pics the tab at the end of the tape is directly above the screw). This means for short measurements I can't just extend, lock, and set it down because the tape being off the surface that far will throw off my marks. Despite that minor annoyance, for the money spent this is a solid, well built, and well designed tool.

Really nice measure. Can't beat it for the price
This one is tough. It's a great measure, the magnets on the blade are amazing, it's SUPER easy to read, and the rubber feet stay put on the conduit I'm measuring where other measures I've used do not. But there's one small problem. I like my take measures to snap back quickly. Rocket retraction. And this one does not. If I have more than 7' out it drags back, and since I'm working 10' lengths of of conduit at a time, it is kind of an issue. That said, magnetic measures are expensive. I went to look for one that retracted more quickly, and the only comparable one I found was a Milwaukee that was almost $50. So overall, this is a great value. I really, really like it a lot. But a stronger return spring would be relatively inexpensive (I'd think), and it would make this four star measure a five star measure

Fantastic tape measure... but the engineering side gets in the way
Yes, I'm an idiot for accidentally purchasing a tape measuring with engineering units on one side, which makes this tape measure quite difficult to use in an American woodshop where everything is in ft/in and cm/mm. Beyond that little hiccup on my part, this is easily the nicest tape measure I've personally owned. The tape glides smoothly, is very strong over distances, and the magnetic end is the perfect touch for added usability. The casing is also very sturdy and the whole thing feels solid in the hand. Can't really go wrong here. It's definitely rugged and high-quality as well, so there's no fear to be had for how much abuse it can take.

Under heavy use it holds up - See update 26 April 2017
I am a Land Surveyor and use this tape measure every day all day long. I was growing frustrated with another brand tape measure that is more popular with our suppliers. We cannot get a month of use out of them, they tend to bend in the first 3 feet and become difficult to use, they also start to tear at the end and eventually rip in half. I have been using this tape measure for 2 months now and it is as good as the first day I started to use it. It does not have any kinks in it, and shows no sign of wear. I will only purchase these tape measures from now on. The other great feature is the wide foot that loves to grab wall corners and stay put. My only gripe is the way they printed the feet, big black block with the test in yellow, it is a little difficult to read in some instances and you find yourself staring at it longer than you should. I thought I would get used to it by now but I still have not. I can forgive that in light of its durability. Edit: After 3 months and a week my first one finally broke, the return spring inside snapped. This was after using it 6-8 hours a day 5 days a week in sun, dirt, rain and mud. Many times we had to clean it back off because it collected too much mud to retract. I just ordered 3 more as I am on my spare one and want to have a few on hand for my other crew and myself. Keep in mind I normally destroy another brands tape measure up in 4 weeks, and after a week we are usually dealing with it bent to one side or the other making it frustrating to use. We had none of that nonsense with this tape measure. This is a godsend. Best Tape measure I have ever purchased. UPDATE 26 April 2017 I wanted to update and should have done this a while ago. This product has changed I thought it was my imagination and it is not. I have since tried other products and realized I was in denial. The tape in the tape measure is now made of inferior material resulting in it bending and staying bent rendering it very frustrating to use. This happens usually in the first or second week of use then you try to get your moneys worth out of it cursing at it every day. I was surprised to see the price went up from about $15 a unit to $20 especially since it is obvious the material they are using is substandard. I will not be buying this tape measure anymore and I am again on the hunt to find one that holds up.

Hey Land Surveyors... This is a great tape!
Simply put... I love this tape. It sits in my pocket daily and gets used often as a land surveying tool. It is very easy to read, retracts very smoothly, and has a killer magnetic end that makes measuring from metallic objects sooooo easy. The general public needs to be aware that this specific model (Komelon 7125IE) has inches AND engineering (10ths of a foot) graduations. If you are looking for an inch specific tape, have a look at the Komelon 7125... for an inch/metric option, look at the Komelon 7425IM.

Mostly good tape but not durable
I loved this tape for a year. I was even going to buy another one. It is like they thought of all the good ways to engineer a measuring tape. Then I stepped on the tape when it was stretched out and instead of bending it split lengthwise down the middle of a one foot section. I really wan't expecting that. It still kind of works but I don't know how it was so brittle. I used to think it was durable and now I think not, especially in the area that matters the most.
