Solid product for airport-type travel
We just used this for the first time with our 3 year old when flying without a stroller for him. My review is based on this one trip where we used this for our time in the airport to vacation and back home again. We did not use this during our trip at all. (If we do use this a bit more, I will update this review)PROS:-- Relatively compact (so you can throw it in your bag without it being too bulky). It is not as light as I thought it would be (it does not feel heavy, but you know it is there), but I think that the tradeoff of durability and strength with an ever so slightly larger product is a no-brainer.-- Coil/spiral design of the cord--this is great for allowing the cord to expand to allow some distance without have the cord fall to the ground, get caught or otherwise just get in the way. The cord is also very strong and seems very durable. The coil design also provides a slight resistance, which we found actually helpful in keeping our son close. When my husband let go of his hand but just took a step forward and back (enough to pull a bit on the spiral cord), our son raised his hand and followed the cord, almost as though they were still holding hands. We don't think he even noticed. I think that ultimately, if we used this more or he got much larger, our son would get used to it or not feel such a pull, but for relatively infrequent airport usage, this was a great "side-effect".-- Soft bands--the cuffs are very soft and even though I put them on very tightly on both my son and myself, it was not uncomfortable at all.-- Strong velcro--the velcro on the child's band is a double velcro so that it is more difficult to remove--I know that some reviewers have found this annoying for when you want an easier off/on (which I understand), but I do think this is a plus for our use of the product.-- General appearance-- I don't think this should make or break this type of product, but there was part of me that initially felt slightly uncomfortable being a parent who "leashed" their child. Something about the look of this product--not cute, almost professional or industrial, but cheerful, made me feel less of this.-- 2 in a pack--we have 2 children, so I appreciated this and thought the value was good.-- Solid colors that are not cutesy (very happy that the selection was not pink and blue!)CONS:--I know that I have listed the strong sprial coil as a PRO, but I think it also functions as a slight con. Perhaps with more wear, the coil would loosen up, but I wonder if the resistance is a bit too strong and what would happen if I was not careful in my arm movements. With a younger child who could be tipped off balance more easily or simply does not weigh very much, I think this could possibly cause a fall when the parent is not being mindful.Overall, I would purchase this again and do think we will end up using this with us on future trips and Disney type vacations. The only reason I removed a star was because of the one possible con, but I will experiment more with this and update my review if anything changes.

Seriously fantastic product! I have recommended these to soooo many ...
Seriously fantastic product! I have recommended these to soooo many people (including strangers who complimented me on it while walking around the zoo) since I got them! When my son (15 months) sees me taking this leash/bracelet thing out, he holds his wrist out and points at it, wanting me to put it on him :-) I love that he can have a little freedom and stretch his legs, without me worrying about losing him. Also it's nice to not be holding onto his hand because he's pretty short (you know... because he's 15 months old...) and it's hard for me to keep my back bent to hold onto him for long periods of time. These are very sturdily made - they remind me of the ankle straps that come on boogie boards or surf boards!Love them, great product, will keep recommending them!

Perfect for toddlers!
Have used these multiple times since purchasing (at a theme park, zoo, etc) and they are wonderful! I have 2 year old twins and the bands fit both them and myself perfectly and they had just enough reach for the kids to be able to enjoy themselves without being in the way of our feet or others. The design of the bands is convenient also, simple for parents to put on, take off but difficult for toddlers to do on their own (believe me mine tried). I definitely recommend for those with curious kids!

Great product.
I have two autistic sons, age 5 years old and 22 months old. They 5 year old is a runner/eloped. I don’t care if others think I am belittling my child by leashing him like a dog. It keeps him safe! ANd this style, without harness, gives him a little more freedom of movement. Except he has figured out quickly how to loosen it, but I still have that few seconds to catch and talk to him about safety.

Live saver!
I have bought 4 of these, (2 sets of 2), for my son who’s autistic and tends to run away quickly. This has been a life saver in many situations. I keep them stored in several places so I’m never without it. We use this frequently while shopping, at the park, on vacation, and in many other places. I love that it keeps him close to me while we’re out and about, and it doesn’t have that “leash” appearance. Will definitely purchase again and again, and highly recommend for any parents that have a “flight risk” child such as mine.

Keeps my 2 year old close
I have used these several times in the last few weeks in public places to keep my 4 and 2 year old close by and I love them! My 2 year old can happily explore while still being close by and my 4 year old, that is always wondering WAY behind, can't get to far back. I have had several parents ask me where I got them. The only thing I can see I will have to reinforce in the future is where the cords connect to the arm straps, but my kids really yank on them and they are holding up great under the stress.

I like that she can't get away from me
I am in bad health my great granddaughter would run and think it was a game. I always said I would use anything like this but as you get older and it is harder to keep up with the grandkids and great grandkids. I would recommend this item as it seems toddlers are faster these days
