Leslie Dame High-Capacity Inlaid Glass Mission Style Multimedia Storage Cabinet, Oak

Our old DVD case was completely full and we needed more room. We looked around for something that would fit into our eclectic collection of furniture and this fit the bill. It is a heavy piece of furniture and all the parts were in good condition with the exception of one little ding on the under side of the top, this area will not be seen so I could not justify sending it back for a replacement. Assembly was pretty straight forward, for some of it though, a second set of hands were helpful. I did as I always have with this type of assembly and glued all the pegs and joints, then clamped until the glue dried and added just a few extra braces on the back to increase stiffness when moving it around. The top was a surprise as it had screws along with the post and cam connection which I like. When finally assembled there was very little adjustments to be done to the hinges to align the doors. For the shelves the pins were a nice machined metal and there are plenty of shelves. As I am using it for a DVD cabinet I had 9 shelves left over. Unlike past experience with the pin and cam assemblies, there where no bad cams to be replaced, all worked well. The unit has some clips to mount on the back side to attach it to the wall so it will not tip over if a child or person pulled on an open door. These were somewhat awkward, you would have to install the clips, reproduce the exact spacing with the screws into the wall, then the whole unit would have to be lifted to engage these 4 screws. As this unit is probably near 200 pounds (shipping weight showed 203 pounds) that might have been an issue. I mounted a board on the wall and added screws with trim washers through the middle supports on the back of the unit.All in all it is a nice piece of furniture and looks like it will last a long time.

Media cabinet is good quality, not high-end solid, but decent. Shipping took forever and no tracking info was given. Took almost 3 hours to assemble. Will easily hold any large media selection! I would recommend different wall anchors (strap kind) instead of the wall mounts that came with it. I could see it tipping easily if a child were to pull on it. I like how you can sort of see the dvds but they're also camouflaged.

Nicely built, good heft even when empty, adjustable doors and shelves. Looks nice. Very easy to assemble by one person. It is shipped double-packaged. The outer package looked pretty beat-up and ripped when it arrived, but the pieces arrived in very good condition. There were some minor damage that oddly did not correlate with the damage to the outer package. Luckily, the damage was minor and easily remedied with a small c clamp, some glue, and a staining pen. The main problem with this cabinet is its design. If you fill each shelf to capacity with DVDs, the first and last ones are difficult to remove due to the presence of the door. This is even worse when the shelf lines up with the door hinge, or if there is a box set there.

Very nice looking, well designed, and sturdy. Was not hard to put together when done methodically; straight forward assembly but it did take several hours. My only complaint is that it is out-gassing. After sitting for over a day with the room's door open there are still strong fumes of the glue or stain.P.S. Several months later it is still out-gassing and a mail to seller asking about this was not responded to!

Have quite a large dvd collection. Previously had a small cabinet, cheap and not well made but this one fits the bill. Arrived in good condition. Wasn't missing any parts, assembly was easy and it is strong, sturdy and looks great. Highly recommend!!!
