Not brass terrible quality
This is not brass, it is cast aluminum. Absolutely terrible quality as well. Not only is the material description a lie it also can't fit smaller dimensions than 2" as described. Just plain terrible and a rip off.

It is beautiful and heavy
I bought this to use on my back door of the new house we are building. It is beautiful and heavy. My contractor has not installed it yet but will post pics of it when it is in. Is exactly what I wanted. The item was packaged so well it could have been dropped and still have been in perfect condition. Update, it has been installed and looks fantastic, a lot better than a peep hole!
