Yet another beautifully printed book by Everyman's Library. This one is printed in Germany and I got it at a really reasonable price during one of the sales on Amazon. If you're looking to buy a good quality edition for Brave New World, look no further and buy this one. It'll be worth it, I promise you.

It arrived on time and I must say the quality of Everyman's Library is impeccable, everyman needs to checkout ELC. However, I have only one complaint, it's for the provider can't you guys wrap the books in bubbles and and delivery them in a box so we can get out order without scratches or minor bended edges.

The characters in this world are products of genetic manipulation and societal conditioning, leading to a sense of predestination and lack of agency.On the other hand, “1984” by George Orwell portrays a dystopia ruled by fear, surveillance, and propaganda. Orwell’s depiction of a totalitarian regime, embodied by Big Brother, resonates with themes of censorship, thought control, and the erasure of history. The protagonist, Winston Smith, rebels against this oppressive regime, showcasing the human desire for freedom and individuality even in the face of extreme adversity.While both novels explore themes of control, surveillance, and the loss of individuality, they do so with different emphases and narrative styles. “Brave New World” leans towards a more subtle form of control through conditioning and pleasure, whereas “1984” emphasizes overt surveillance and coercion.In terms of personal preference, “1984” shines brighter for its intense portrayal of resistance and the human spirit’s resilience against tyranny. I paid 900 and look at what price it was sold
