the skep popped out easy enough but the little bees were deformed
This mold makes cute and small candles, 1.2 oz by weight, just about the size of a standard votive. I used a large sewing needle to insert the wick, secured the top end to a chopstick so it would be centered, and squirted in a little lubricant. After cooling overnight, about 8-10 hours, the skep popped out easy enough but the little bees were deformed. I cut the side and used gumbands to keep the shape and tried again - much better result this time. I removed the gumbands and peeled the sides back, and this time the bees were perfect. Decent mold for the price, recommend.

Cute Mold
Great mold that works well with melt and pour soap. It is a bit difficult to remove the soap upon drying. You have to be careful to not squish the bees as there are on three within the design. By the third time, I was able to get the soap out of the mold without damaging one of the three bees.

A very deep mold, it was not a success.
Very difficult to remove from the mold. I used clay, so it distorted while removing.

Easy to make beeswax candles with.
Just received my mold and made beeswax candles out of it. I did not have to cut the mold to get the candle out. It was easy to push it out and did not hurt the candle shape. They are about the size of a standard votive candle at the store. I would buy another.
