Yea, it's low to the ground but heavy duty and fits.
Heavy duty, bolted on ok with provided bolts. Make sure you get the exhaust deflector above the tailpipe before inserting bolts. I had to do it twice because I did not read instructions. Had to unhook the tailpipe but no big deal. On the metris, this hitch is real close to the ground, worried about the snow. I don't think the spare tire will drop then slide out unless you Jack the rear up higher. Better carry a bottle jack.

Mercedes Metris
Easy to install but does hang low below the bumper so not a good look. It will hit on angled driveways. The product is good but design needs improvement. I wouldn’t have ordered it, if I saw it on another Metris.

It is very nice to have the exhaust plate to keep from melting bumpers....but, keep in mind it will be a challenge to move the tailpipe enough to squeeze the hitch into place.I'm less than thrilled the the ends of the hitch which are kind of low, so it has a tendency to drag when entering or exiting driveways. I just need to remember to hit driveways diagonally.

Easy to install and sturdy.
This was my first DIY hitch installation. With a little help from my wife it took 40min to install it.You have to go in at an angle to bypass the muffler support and you will be good to go.Also start first on the muffler side and tighten one bolt so you can lift it on place on the driver side. Once you have all bolts in place just tighten them all and you are set to go.

Make sure you have a floor jack to lift this into place.
Nice product for my 2016 Mercedes Metris. The receiver is very robust I had to cut off the muffler hanger tab from the frame. The hanger tab would not allow the receiver to fit my vehicle. Once I had the tab removed and a little effort to lift the receiver into place, the bolts went into place very easily.

Easy to install
It hangs really low on the vehicle and the car keeps bottoming out.

Don’t waste your money…
Very difficult to install. Barely fit between the frame rails. Scrapes on all driveways. Exhaust hits on the hitch and makes a horrible rattle every time you start the car and idols.. Worst hitch I’ve ever installed. Too late to get my money back. Do yourself a favor by a different hitch or have one professionally installed. This is not the way to go I will probably be pulling it off I only use it to carry bicycles

The hitch that drags the ground.
Awful design and lack of ingenuity by Curt.No thought about clearance. Drags at every curb on a van with a low ground height. It will be removed and replaced with Pelican. Parts or OE hitch. Don’t buy this.
