Very nice watch band with shiny gloss finish. I'm happy with it.
A little heavy. Makes me think more of lead than stainless steel.High gloss finish matches that of the Series 2 Stainless Steel gloss black. I am hard on watches and usually scratch up the watch faces. Even with sapphire crystal on my stainless steel series 2, I still managed to scratch black off the edge of the glass near the large oval button. Having said that, after 2 weeks of use, this band is still holding up with a few minor scuffs, but still black with no deep scratches on the palm side of the band from rubbing on the table as I type. Still has a nice high gloss finish. I'll update this in a couple of months if it fades, but so far so good. The thin gap between the segments may grab your arm hair. This a complete band that never separates. Put the watch on and off like a bracelet. No straps or buckles to mess with and risk dropping the watch. Clasp is different from ones I find on regular full band watches which close on the outside. This closes on the insider. I was afraid the inside clasp would dig into my wrist, but it doesn't seem to be a problem.Comes with device that allows me to push out and push in pins to change band length (push on the solid part of the pin to extract; the side that looks like a flatblade screw drive slot is the open end of the pin -- push on this end to insert). There are arrows which show the direction of pin removal. Just be sure you put the pins in the right direction (pin is a folded over thin piece of metal -- one side will look solid (hairpin bend side) and the other side will look like a flatblade screw drive slot (where the pins come together)). No real instructions, and tool looks flimsy, but if you've ever worked with other pin based watch bands, it's not a big deal.Couple of pointers on apple watch bands:1. They are meant to be inserted to the watch in one way. Put the connector on the wrong end and it will not engage and it will slide off. This may be the problem people have when they complain about the watch not latching, but I have noticed this with bands from other manufacturers as well. The connectors do not seem to be interchangeable.2. If you have a solid minimal flexing band like this, you'll have to put both connectors in simultaneously into the watch.3. Standard watches seem to be 38mm band connectors. Buying a blank 42 mm connector and trying to stick your standard 38 mm watch bands on it will give you a little slop.

Great value -- looks much more expensive than it is
This band is as attractive as the very much more expensive Apple link band that came with the original stainless steel Apple Watch and it seems less vulnerable to scratching than the Apple band. Only downside is that removing the links to size it is challenging. The tool provided for removing links is very difficult to use, since it does not dock the watch at all and it takes considerable dexterity to align it. The lack of stabilization makes it too easy to break the push pin in the tool -- I broke one, but fortunately 3 are provided. It took me over an hour to take off the 5 links I needed to get a good fit. But once you get past that, the band looks great with my sparkling new gold stainless steel Apple Watch 4 and wears very comfortably. Although the band fastener is not as elegantly machined as the Apple one, it still works well and fits well on the wrist. Highly recommend this -- just be prepared for the struggle sizing it.

Surprisingly great quality and looks fantastic!
I just start by agreeing with most of the other reviews. This is well worth buying. It's good quality steel, really well built and has a surprisingly good quality finish. As I showed in 1 photo, it's got a lot of extra room. For reference I've got about a 7.5 in wrist, and I ended up removing 4 links and it fit my wrist near perfectly to how I like itI gave it 4 stars only because it was a little challenging removing the links with the supplied fixture. It wasn't anything overtly difficult, but from what the pictures that the company posted showed, I just expected it to be easier.Other than that I am really glad that I chose to buy this bracelet. It exceeded my expectations and I would absolutely buy again. If you're on the fence about buying it, especially with the plethora of other bracelets to choose on Amazon that cost 1/2 as much, I would encourage you to go for it. It really will impress you with how good it looks and the quality you can feel while holding it. Hopefully the pics I posted will help persuade you!!!

Nice band - nice weight
I've purchased many bands for my Apple Watch. This one ranks up in the top few that I've had. It's well made and It's really nice that they include the adjustment hardware - I've had several that haven't and I had to purchase the hardware separately - now I have a backup! I like the weight - not too light, not too heavy, great balance. Some of the other reviewers complain about the black wearing off. I just got mine so it's too early to tell - but honestly, I've had black bands for many years on a host of watches even pre-Apple Watch. The wear of the black is just always going to happen no matter the quality of the band. That's why I have to purchase a new band every once in a while - it's the price of having a black band. Overall I'm happy with the band out of the box and it looks good on me. I'll update the review if things change.

manufacturing quality is good, but finish is not durable and wears quickly
Quality of band is nice, appears made well. Durability of finish for the black-colored band isn't great, though. It looks like a painted finish, which looks great and matches the black stainless finish watch well, but after wearing it daily for about a week (typically with long sleeve dress shirts), the finish was rubbing off, exposing silver-colored metal underneath. Maybe another finish would be OK, but I'm returning the gloss black in favor of a ceramic band that would hopefully hold up better, as I want something to match the black chrome finish of the stainless watch case. The design also makes the band relatively inflexible, so it will not lay flat while charging with the band on. I was OK with this, but others may not. Also, it would often grab and pull on arm hair, but that's a common thing for metal link bands.
