A stunning album
The Chieftains are amazing, and this album is my favorite. The guest artists include Sting, Mick Jagger, Sinead O'Conner, Tom Jones and others, backed by the excellent instrumentalists in the Chieftains. Jagger's take on Long Black Veil, and O'Conner's version of Foggy Dew are highlights, as is Sting's song, which is Gaelic, and I won't even attempt to spell. It's an interesting blend of Irish tunes and songs along with American traditional songs like Long Black Veil and Tennessee Waltz, done by Tom Jones. I've bought it in cassette tape and also in CD form, and bought it as gifts for friends as well.

Great Version of Foggy Dew
This is another CD I bought for one cut, Sinead O'Connor doing 'Foggy Dew' with the Chieftains backing her. It's a slower tempo than many covers which is appropriate if you listen to the lyrics. Some of the other tracks were enjoyable though the title track is one of the stranger covers I've heard.

Chieftains
Do the Chieftains ever put a foot wrong musically? These guys (former postal employees if I remember correctly) have played all over the world and with some of the best musicians of varied genres. They are A-List all the way, always.

A must-have classic
A must-have classic if you are a Chieftains fan, possibly the most versatile and far-ranging in musical genre and star-studded guest singers and musicians. I listen to this over and over and never tire of it.

Amazing collaborations
The Chieftains are an Irish and global mainstay. Their classic collaborations with Jagger/ Morrison/ et al are haunting and diverse. I love playing this CD again and again...
