Since my Galaxy S22 Ultra USB port has stopped working, I decided to give this a try. As expected it charges slower than a wired charger, but the added time is acceptable--especially since I mainly use it I overnight. The light doesn't bother me at all on my nightstand. I seems to generate more heat than a wired charger. I am a little concerned about that reducing the performance of the battery over time.

I got this because the USB-C port on my S22+ was beginning to wear and not hold a tight connection. The Samsung charging pad is more expensive than some other pads available here, but I liked the concept of a built-in fan and the way that the phone and the pad appear to work together.I've seen some comments here that the wireless charging is slower than wired. Well, that's just the nature of wireless charging. I've used wireless charging on some previous Samsung phones, so I wasn't surprised.Some people have complained that the charger cuts out or that it is hard to place the phone to get charging to start. I experienced both problems when I was trying to place the phone so that the camera bump wasn't in contact with the charger. I stopped being concerned about that and just placed the phone squarely on the pad. Charging as been 100% reliable since then.The charging process does generate heat, and excessive heat is bad for the battery. I found that my phone has an option for fast wireless charging. When I turned it off, it charged with just a bit of barely detectable warmth. As an added bonus, the fan in the charger base doesn't activate. Of course, there is a trade-off: charging is much slower. The phone charges at the rate of about 22%/hour. That may be unacceptable if it being charged during the day, but is more than sufficient for overnight charging.

TL;DR - Works as intended, but not for my use case.I purchased this for my nightstand to charge my phone wirelessly at night. Unfortunately for this use case, it's pretty mediocre. You have to make sure the phone is perfectly centered and the surface is smooth, so the phone will slide in a random direction if you bump it. Overall, not a great "toss it and forget it" charger. I decided to pick up something that's more of a stand with wireless charging as that provides a better "cradled" experience.PROS: It provides the advertised 15W wireless charging. You can get the full fast wireless charging out of your Galaxy device from this.CONS: The top has a smooth surface and your phone is prone to sliding off center and stopping charging if you accidentally bump it.

This works great and is faster than the other wireless chargers since it's the original! The fan is also an amazing feature. Way better than regular charging cables

First up: In terms of Value for price, this is a good value product, as it comes with a Samsung 25 Watt Super Fast Charger (35 USD on Samsung's Website) in the Box. If you've purchased any Samsung S-Series phone after the S22, you will not receive a charger in the box. The 25-Watt Charger will enable wired Super Fast Charging.Next: The marketing on this product is a little misleading. There's no such thing as "Super Fast Wireless Charging" as of writing this review. Using the Included 25 watt charger, along with a 5 amp USB-C to USB-C Cable doesnt display "Super fast Wireless Charging. It will only display "Fast Wireless Charging" on your Samsung Device. This is with "Fast Wireless Charging" enabled in the phone's settings. However, this will wirelessly charge your device at 15 Watts.Finally: This Wireless Charging Station works. For those using the "Ultra" models, you may have to find the sweet spot while on the charger. The Charging Station has excellent grip on any surface it's on. However, there's very little grip between your device + the charging station, so be careful not to bump whatever surface this device is on.Additionally, this will wireless charge your other devices, such as earbuds, and other phones that support wireless charging (including iPhones).

I have a Samsung Note 20 Ultra. My charging port is starting to become compromised so I bought this to be able to have a wireless charging option and preferably a fast charging option. I normally keep a Ghostek waterproof case on my phone all the time. The short of this review is that this wireless charger doesn't work and I wouldn't even call it fast charging. For one, right now my phone is at 55% and the estimated time to charge it to full is still almost an hour. I wouldn't call that "fast". Secondly, it will start to charge for a little bit (sometimes only a matter of a few mins) and then stop charging completely and I'll get a pop up message telling me that charging has stopped and something to do with removing obstructions or whatever. So I thought maybe the case was the problem so I take it out of the case to put it on the pad and the same thing occurs even when the phone is just sitting "bare" without a case on the pad. So I'm going to just have to return it and stick with corded charging options.

Nice little charger. Has a fan to cool it and it charges faster than expected.

Works great w/o a case on, but I noticed after I put a case on the phone, it has to be exactly lined up for it to work, and if I don't get it placed just right the first time, it goes into red light blinking mode where I have to unplug it and try again. When it does connect, it charges it fully w/o issue, but I am rather disappointed it doesn't work as good as it did with the bare phone.Would I recommend it? No, get something that's actually going to work consistently with a case.
