Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser, 6.7 Fluid Ounce (Pack of 6)

Pros: This is my go to face wash soap for travels, as well as, now at home. I used to use the Oil Free Wash, but it was extremely hard to carry on trips. The liquid drips out of the bottle and its almost impossible to close, unless you get one of the different types of covers. However, this thing is much cleaner and less watery as well. It is necessary to use it with quite a bit of water, as it comes out in a cream like paste. This means that unless you actually wash your face there is no way you could use this as a cream. This has kept my acne away for quite some time, as without using this or a different kind of oil free soap the acne comes back fast and furious. I went through about two of these in an entire year, washing twice a day. So, it's not used that fast, but they do go. All in all, a great cleanser for the face. It keeps my acne away, yet at the same time keeps my face clean. Cons: Like other reviewers have stated, this thing can really burn. Although, I have found this thing hurts only when you have extremely dry skin. This is almost never a problem for me, but I do understand where they are coming from.

I've been looking for a great product for my face that doesn't dry it out. I found this product at Target one day on sale and decided to try it out. Since then I have felt so fresh and clean every time I wash my face. I think for my face, it's important to use a thick cleanser rather than the more water-like cleaners. This does the job perfectly. First of all, the smell is great. It feels so smooth and refreshing on my face and after I'm done the fresh feeling continues throughout the night. I highly recommend this product for those who want to have a fresh feeling face but does not have severe acne. I do not have acne but I do get the occasional pimple from time to time. Since I've begun using this product, I have not had any breakouts. I normally got it from Target on days it would be on sale but I realized that it rarely is and sometimes is $7.00. Luckily I discovered it on Amazon and got an extra 5% off when I subscribe.

I never by anything but Neutrogena any more as it always seems to leave my skin the healthiest. I buy this one because it comes with the most product in it and I have never suffered from bad acne. I do however use this facewash daily to prevent the rouge pimple, and in that the product succeeds. I don't know how it works for actual acne, and therefore, cannot personnally recommend it for use as such. For a daily face wash for an adult, I think this product is great and have been sold on it for years.

The image showing is not the same as the product received which has a new formula sign on the upper right corner. By comparing the new and the old ingredients list,the new formula removed Aloe leaf extract,Anthemis Nobilis flower extract,and Matriciaria flower extract.Even though the active ingredient is still 2% salicylic acid, the inactive ingredients has changed a lot and so are the smell, texture, and the feel. Honestly, the first time,it smells like insect spray but now I get used to it. The new formula has menthol which makes you feel like cold breezed after use. Perhaps, they try to give you a false sense of cleanness. However, I would not buy it again unless it returns to the old formula. New formula sucks.

I have had skin problems since puberty and several of the dermatologists I have visited highly recommended this brand to me. I use it twice a day and can say for sure that it helps clear your skin and keep it clear. Everyone comments on how young I look and want to know what I use for skin care. I am 39 and people swear I look in my late 20s.
