For me they went in an explosion proof fixture.

Q: Where is the warranty written?

Hi, I bought a pk of 2 on 6/4/2022. Have only used 1 and it burned out today 1/29/2023. It only burns 6-8 hrs. a day I thought it was a great light and highly recommended to friends and customers. I'm disappointed that it burned out so soon, no where near 35000 hr. as advertised. Was going to order more but, not so sure. How is warranty handled ? Thanks, Bill.

Q: Can it be used with a timer ?

Sure, of course in can. But, on another note, the light output is not even close to what is claimed. Power consumption by the bulb is less than 20W, not 40W. That's probably why it's not as bright as claimed.
