Bigger than expected
Widths are based on a 15mm tire. 28c measures out to 30mm on a 17mm rim. I only have 100 miles on them. They are not as supple as the puncture prone pro ones I had before, but I’ll take the piece of mind.

Easy to mount and no flats
These tires have done well on my road bike, they mount easily on my carbon rims. They set up with just a floor pump and I get good mileage out of them. Nice to have durable tubeless tires. Not everyone is looking for thin race tires.

Finally - puncture resistant tubeless!
Switched to tubeless on my road bike last winter and had so many punctures that wouldn’t seal, including a giant 1cm sidewall tear. For the minor increase in rolling resistance, these offer terrific puncture resistance. The tubeless equivalent of “Gatorskins” (actually, even better than gatorskins if you believe the testing at bicyclerollingresistance dot com). Also, the tan sidewalls look awesome.

Do not buy
I have had 4 of these tires fail within 5 months. I am a avid cyclist and put a lot of miles in. I just did a ultra cycling race ( florida 500) put a brand new tire on before race and by the end of race 535.5 miles the tire developed bubbles between the layers of rubber. Put new tire on, and within 2 weeks same thing. Another tire on and same. I am running tubeless and 70 psi. Had a rep at local bike shop look at tires and he said it is a manufacturing defect. He is covering 2 so far and need to submit the other 2 this week. He said that he is starting to hear more complaints about these in the last couple months!DO NOT BUY….. they need to issue a recall!

These tires live up to their hype! Pirelli recommended theses for my usage and style of riding.I definitely recommend these to all no racing cyclists.

Excellent Tires. Don’t believe their shipping times.
Pirelli Cinturato Velo TLRs are truly excellent tubeless tires, which is why I’ve ordered another pair for my second bike. They’re relatively easy and painless to install, give great feel and grip in a ride, and withstand even New York City’s roughest roads. So why only 2 stars? I could have been riding for 5 days by now if Amazon (or this vendor) were honest about their shipping times.Amazon clearly shows 2 day delivery on these tires, and this product page always says there’s only two left. I ordered my pair on June 23 with a June 25th delivery date. I’ve been waiting a week for these tires and only today, June 30th, received a notification that they were shipped for a July 8th arrival. If I had known it would take 2 WEEKS to receive these, I would have ordered from any other store online. If you order these on Amazon, do not expect them within a reasonable time frame.
