Night Night, Groot (The Adventures of Rocket and Groot)

Husband is a big fan of Guardians of the Galaxy. Groot being his favorite of course. We have a baby on the way, and I've been trying to get him in the habit of reading the baby a story at night. Wasn't so hot on reading outloud to my tummy every night.So... I gave him this hardcover book as a Christmas gift from our baby. He's read it to our lil one definately more than once since then. Style is a comic in a story. (Ever so loveable) Blatent remarks from Rocket interupt in bubbles. Little comments pop up from other characters during the story as well.Love it! Did the trick! The key needed was this book, unlocking his inner geeky dadness. :DHope our child likes it as much as he does. Can't tell who enjoys it more just yet.

Such an adorable children's book!! I really enjoy that the pages don't have too many wordy sentences because my nephew loses his interest quite fast, so this is quick enough so that he can enjoy the pictures more than anything! I ABSOLUTELY love (being a HUGE marvel fan) that so many superheroes are in their book, besides the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers. Like MOON KNIGHT, RED HULK, SHE-HULK, etc etc. I was way more excited about Moon Knight than my nephew was of course, but being a huge fan of him, I'm really glad I'm able to show and explain to my nephew how cool Moon Knight is! Be prepared to know a LOT of marvel heroes before you show your little ones, so you're able to answer the "Who's that? Who's that? Who's that?" question a thousand times!

I purchased this and ""Grow Up, Ant-Man" for my 3 year old nephew for his birthday and both him and his 5 year old brother loved them! They are big into super heroes, and also love story time with their daddies (who are also super hero fans) so I know they will get read plenty of times. The illustrations are super adorable and the story is cute as well.

We bought this as a gift for my 12 year old, from my 2 year old so she could read to him at night and they both love it!Positives:- Cute artwork- Easy to read- Short, quick read for night time.- Enjoyable read for both the young and oldNegatives:- He likes to try to read it to himself and can try to rip the pages. Would love this in a board book option too.

These are the most colorful, sweet books. I purchased 3 different ones for my grandson. Classy presentation. Very pleased!!

Bought it for my daughter and absolutely loved it.

This is a fun book. My three year old knows a few marvel characters and I enjoyed introducing him to guardians of the freaking galaxy with this book. The artwork is a cool mix of child friendly and what you'd expect from science fiction. The story is a little akward to read. It's almost read as a lullaby for Groot, with Rocket Racoon interrupting. We mostly just flip through and look at the pictures.

got this for my son who just turned 5. he loves it! he’s into all the Marvel characters, so to him, this is a lot of fun to read before bed.
