Best tint
Used the yellow on the 3 ft. model of the Enterprise starship for certain clear parts. and it looks great, though can be thin like the orange, it might take more than one coat. Used the red tint on clear red LEDs to make tiny red lights for the Enterprise starship 3 ft. model on the engine nacelles (they need to look like colored bezels, so this works well). Looks red when lit and is durable, I've handled them often after they dried and no chip out or voids have developed. Would imagine this might work on glass, too. Haven't tried it on glass, but it works great on poly-carbonate or clear polystyrene. Best tint I've ever used. The green and orange are equally good, although the orange tends to look a bit thin and might need more than one coat to get orange on some lights and clear parts. I used the green for the other nacelle to create an identical light on the ship with equally great results as the red. The green looks perfect when lit, not too dark.

Tamiya Quality
This is another quality paint from Tamiya. I generally use their acrylic paints for models. This works well on its own for clear plastics but you can also mix it with other transparent colors too. Goes on smooth and flattens out well. Whether you’re working on a gunpla or an automotive model, this will get the job done for you.

I own all of Tamiya's clear colors. These are the best. All have same consistency.
I have used all of Tamiya's clears. Red, blue, yellow, orange, green. There's nothing better. You can even mix them together to make other colors like purple by mixing blue and red. I usually put a few drops of Mr. Color Leveling Thinner in with it to give it a perfectly flat glass smooth finish and to improve the flow through my airbrush. I love using these to do a candy coat paintjob on my Gundam models. I use Alclad Gloss black base coat, Alclad Chrome or specifically Alclad Bright Silver Candy (both work great) then I top coat it with which ever Tamiya clear I want to use. Alclad and Tamiya paints don't interact with one another. Alclad Laquer's Gloss Black Base Coat isn't a Laquer. Alclad Laquer's the name of the company but that Gloss Black Base from them is actually a finely thinned enamel that's able to be poured right into your airbrush. Again I put a little bit of Mr Color Leveling Thinner (Leveling Thinner not just Thinner) in with the base coat just so I know I'll get that excellent glass like finish. Leveling thinner retards the paint giving it more time to self level.

Excellent clear color
These clear Tamiya paints make colors pop like nothing else. I've gotten incredible flame effects and vibrant electrical effects from coating other colors with these. It also mixes beautifully with metallic medium to make a gorgeous metallic coat. I run through these bottles like crazy. Only thing that could improve them is if they came with an agitator bead inside to make sure they are well-shaken before use.
