Hitec RCD 55701 Standard Aluminum Servo Arm

Good aluminum servo arm. Only one hole is threaded. I know people use push rods but I'd appreciate all the holes threaded for my purposes. fits perfectly on the serve metal gear. I wouldn't use this on a plastic geared servo.

The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because the holes in the servo arm are very small so I had to drill it to fit it the screw for my 1/8 buggy. It seems that this servo horn is made for smaller scale cars that use smaller screws.

Good strong arm servo item

Works great for my purposes. I installed this in a cheap hobby rc rock crawler after i upgraded the servo to a metal gear servo (which unfortunately came with plastic servo arms). The plastic arm that came with it broke, so i replaced it with this aluminum one and have not had any issues since i put this one on.

Horn/arm itself is of good quality and one hole is threaded if needed. The problem here is that it's advertised as a STANDARD size horn when in fact it's not. This horn appears to be 24T which fits fine on HS-82mg, etc but this will NOT fit on Standard size Hi-Tec such as HS-85MG, HS-645MG and other Standard size C1 (25T) HiTec servos. Seller should update description, this will have many customers frustrated.

Dimensions are (.35" wide x .06" thick x 1.04" long) or (8.9 mm wide x 1.54 mm thick x 26.4 mm long) not (3 x .2 x 5.4 inches) as described. It also doesn't fit on a standard metal servo, but it may go on a plastic servo if you force it and it is to big for a micro servo.

The material is strong and well made, but the tooth count is NOT 25t.I bought 2 of these metal servo horns to go on my new Savox SA-1230SG servos and it does NOT fit. It doesn't it fit the HexFly 15kg servos I was replacing either. That important specification should be specified in the product description.
