10000 Word Scramble Puzzles to Improve Your IQ (IQ BOOST PUZZLES) Paperback – Large Print, September 24, 2013

This is a long list of puzzles. Each one is a single word or phrase that has letters as symbols representing the correct letter in the alphabet.It's fun, but not on a computer (with the Kindle software). You need paper and pencil to do the puzzle, and you are constantly scrolling for several pages trying to find the correct place for the answers.Bookmarks did not work in this book, though it worked for other books, and there are insufficient hyperlinks to help you navigate back and forth. If you do puzzles in different places of the book, expect the answers to be on a disproportionate number of pages apart.

The book's title sums it up, at least the "10000 Word Scramble Puzzles" part; I'm unconvinced about the effect on IQ. For those who enjoy this sort of challenge -- you know who you are -- it's a useful book to have, not least for otherwise empty moments, e.g. standing in line or riding the bus. Three reasons I give four stars rather than five: high list price for the digital edition; minor formatting errors (in the digital version; I haven't seen the print); and the occasional too-obscure word (eddie? anopheles? horripilation?). Overall, fun to dip into.

A very good way to keep your brain working. I play the puzzles every time after supper and i think they are totally very funny.

To advanced for me. Good for the scholars.
