We love it
Nice to set up, and not worry about it. Water our yard and flower beds with ease. Docks itself at the end of the hose line and water stops. Heavy, and made to last. Good product.

Sturdy old school steel!
This is a very sturdy old school steel device. Literally just like the one my Grandma had. It water really well and it's entertaining. HUGE NOTE!It says for established lawns and it is ONLY FOR ESTABLISHED LAWNS! It's so heavy that it will make dirt muddy and WILL GET STUCK.With that in mind? Your going to love it and certainly be able to pass it on to your grandkids. I LOVE IT ❤️

Would be good if it could handle unfiltered irrigation water better.
I always wanted one! It's a great idea and design. It does take a little more messing around to set it up. I use an empty length of 3/4". hose for the guide hose and a separate pressurized hose to operate it. I can make more meanders that way to work around plantings, etc.We have unfiltered irrigation water and it quickly plugs the washer/screen...so I removed the screen and ran it...it kind of slowed and plugged to the point I had to back-flush it and lube the rotator-head with silicone spray. The rotating parts were pretty tight and have loosened up a bit with use.I am using it 'off-label' by doing this but it is working well now and it may have premature wear with the river water irrigation water I use but I am enjoying the machine. It does have a bit of a squeal as it 'motates' along but it's not a big deal and it may lessen as the parts 'wear in'.It is a MACHINE so it has working parts which will wear out...I still use and love my 'father's choice' sprinklers which have no moving parts and never get clogged and only eventually corrode away but it's a good machine!

Love it!!!!
Love it, I set up the hose set the lever for slow fast or stop and turn on the hose. I don't have to watch the time or anything it follows the hose watering the area you want and when it gets to the end it will hit the stopper provided and the water will stop as if you had a sprayer attached that way when you are ready you can just walk out and shut of the water. I will always own one of these solid metal beauties.

Loved this lawn sprinkler!!
I was skeptical whether this lawn sprinkler was everything it was supposed to be. Having used it for a week, I LOVE it! Seriously considering purchasing another so I can water both my front and back lawns at the same time. One thing to consider.....make sure your hose does not have any repair connectors. The unit will not go over them.

Start the H20 before bed and it will be done by morning.
We’ve been in a drought for months. Watering during the day only magnifies the suns heat via the water droplets. I bought this watering tractor so that I could start it and walk away at night. You can connect more than one hose that the tractor can pass over IF the part they connect at isn’t much larger than the hose itself. The tractor is easy to setup up out of the box with just a few parts. Be sure to notice the diagram shown on the rear of the tractor as to how to set the arms otherwise the tractor won’t move.Layout your hose in the area you want watered, fasten the hose to the tractor, make sure the ‘plug’ on the bottom is pulled out, set your dial to how fast you want the tractor to move for more or less water or to sit neutral. Turn the tractor around so it is facing the layout of the hose you picked. Make sure it’s not pinched at the end, you may need to give it 1-2 foot of slack so it doesn’t become pinched. Turn it on and watch it go. It’s impossible to adjust the water while it’s on without getting sprayed so you may have to turn the water off and on while you figure out which layout works best for your yard.If the grass is too thick, it could cause the tractor to sink which would make the plug underneath go in, stopping the water flow. If you have it going over an area of dirt this can happen as well. How does it stop considering there are no hiccups like tall grass or muddy areas that cause it to push in the plug? The tractor comes with a small ‘ramp’ that once the front wheel goes over it will initiate the plug to push in, stopping the water.Because I can set it up with a starting and stopping point, I feel comfortable starting it before I go to bed, knowing that it will be shut off by the morning. It has helped prevent my newly planted shrubs from dying during this awful drought.
