I didn't use this as it's advertised, I used it to mount a vice on a bench that is both removeable and height adjustable. The build quality, steel thickness, and welds were great as was the paint. It also came with some nice bolts and hardware to remove any play out of the 2" receiver hitch joints. I will be buying this again to mount some other things like a bench grinder etc. Note that in the photo, there is a receiver hitch that I used to mount to the bench that is not part of this item.

Just what I needed!!!!! Works great and sturdy so I can thread pipe on job sites.

Came packed well from the factory. That's a 75lb, hundred+ year old vise and the bolt holes line up perfectly. I priced the steel locally to weld one up myself and couldn't match the cost of this. Mine would have been a little heavier and would have cleared the open tailgate (this doesn't) but this will do. I'll make an adjustable shoe for the bottom so the vertical post rests on the ground. I'll also make a mount for my shop so I can pop it back and forth. My ram 2500 has a 2 1/2 inch receiver so I needed to use an adapter, which I had. I can't say this would be good for commercial applications. I own 5 rental units and my own house so the work is basically random homeowner stuff you would do for 100 year old homes. Projects range from painting to replacing cast iron plumbing. A vise isn't anything I would want permanently attached to the truck and it's a good alternative to buying a rigid tri-stand (better heavy duty option.) It will be useful. I'm satisfied.

Just got it mounted on my truck, seems to work well, especially with the brackets to take the slop out. However, one simple improvement would have made it even better. There are several holes in the vertical piece, so the height can be easily adjusted, but there are only two adjustment holes in the horizontal tubing! I wanted to have it mounted so my tailgate would just barely clear it. I mounted and extension into my hitch, then put the vise holder into the extension. The short setting wouldn't quite clear the tailgate, but the long hole extended it way too far. I would be nice to have a couple more adjustment holes available.

Ordered this for my work truck to mount a pipe vise to. Man is this thing sturdy. All the bed mounted vises we have broken. I've had a few co workers try to break this with no luck! Yes it has a little wiggle in the hitch but i don't ride around with it in there so no bothers from me. It could also be corrected with duct tape or the provided hitch stabilizer.

Used this for the first time and i love it !! Makes for a go anywhere unit that is durable . Bought the pony 5” vise to go with it and I love it.

I use this with a Harbor Freight vise and I love it. I have used it for field repairs of equipment and vehicles. Works great. Rebuilt a Ford superduty front end using this and had no issues with weakness. It is obviously not going to be as strong as a vise mounted on a workshop bench, be reasonable and you will be pleased.

This is a pretty good deal and cheaper than it could be built from scratch. Good quality and all necessary parts provided. Fits together very well and fits a standard vise. recommended.

This functions as it was designed. A bit loose on the vertical post even after tightening the clamp but works fine. If you don't have a bench to attach a vise (like me!), this is a great option, and you can take it with you!

I hope this could be more longer for the tow Ball attachment. This is too close to the trailer.
