Maybe edit before you print!
I'm not sure what kind of person wrote this book, but it seems like it wasn't edited - multiple mistakes and typos all over. So many parts of it don't make sense! I don't think there is an animal on earth that lays 8 to 10 eggs a day - page 111 paragraph 1. There are absurd statements such as if you have one duck hatch and it sees you first then you must eat, sleep and live with this duck or you will ruin it's life. Page 101 paragraph 3. Those are just two examples. I searched the book through and through to find information on telling the sexes apart but didn't find information on that at all. I fell for the book because of the pretty cover - but other than that would not recommend this to anyone else. We have three of these ducks and they are about 5 months old now. It isn't rocket science - too much information on genetics and coloring and who carries which gene and who determines colors. Not important. If you are thinking about getting these ducks they are wonderful and pretty much take care of themselves. We just want to know if we have males or females. This book didn't help at all. Sorry......
