This is a great product if you've got 30L of stuff that you need to store in an ait-right container, including any food-stuffs. 30L is a reasonable size but, depending on what you're storing it may not be as big as you might hope. e.g. Flour tends to pick up a lot of air as its poured into the container which increases the colume quite a bit. Bumping the container can settle it a bit, but it's not as easy as you might think (maybe static in the plastic barrel exacerbates the problem). Corarser stuff (like bird seed) flows easily and takes up a predictable volume.The lid forms a good seal. The metal fastener can be a bit of a struggle to get in place but gets easier with practice and doesn't need too much strength to close it.The carry-handles are very sturdy and well placed. Depending on what you've pt inside they can get quite heavy, but the handles are easily up to the task.They are neatly stackable and easy to put two barrels high, feeling stable when in place. Three high would likely require lifting above shoulder height and could be a bit trickier.All things considered, a great product at doing what it's designed for, and at a reasonable proice too.

Given that this is a UN approved storage barrel, I’m slightly confused by less than positive reviews by people who have tried to use it in as a collection bin in a workshop vacuum cleaner, only to find it collapses under negative air pressure.....If however you use as intended, I think you will be pleased.I do a lot of home baking (bread) and get through a fair quantity of flour. I needed something robust and airtight which could store a whole 16kg commercial bag of flour, and be safe to put in an out building without worrying about any wildlife helping itself.Although specified as 30 litres, it will actually hold perhaps 34 litres to the brim.Both the barrel and lid are made of extremely tough plastic, the kind that is not going it be damaged by impacts. The lid fits very securely and use a foam gasket to ensure a really airtight seal, and is locked in place by a very simple but effective metal band with a locking lever.The handles are strong and will click folded flat to the sides of the barrel when not needed.I think it is very good value and I will probably be getting a second one shortly.
