We are stress testing this unit. It has not clogged yet. It gets reset about 30times a day. just so we can see the lil sand pour from top to bottom. We have no real use for it except to watch it run the sand. from one side of it to the other. over and over again. We have had this for about 6 months now. no issues yet. Built very well.

I really like it. The red sand pops against the dark wood!Looks great on our nic-nac shelf.

Its feel like great quality and the timer is accurate enough. I ran a timer when I flipped it and it took 61 minutes and 11 seconds to complete. So it's accurate enough to keep track of time but not if you need a precise 1-hour timer. Might be off my a minute. Other than that it's great. Sand is a bit closer to pink than I was expecting but that's not bad or anything.

Looks nice red sand really glows bright against the dark colors use it to help keep time at work and to entertain the children at work sand sticks to top of glass though and needs tapped loose after each use and the time is pretty accurate within 5 minutes of accuracy all and all good hour glass

I chose to purchase this sand timer because I was looking for one with red sand and reviews on other sand timers said the sand looked orange. When it arrived it was nicer looking than I expected. The sand was RED, the complaints people had of the sand sticking to the sides, did not happen. I would say maybe 50 grains of sand stuck to the side. The timing was accurate within a few seconds. There were no chips or scratches, it was packaged securely. The wooden frame is very nice. It really is beautiful to look at, as well as relaxing. I purchased this to give as a graduation gift, and will definitely purchase again.
