Do not believe any review saying this is a true replacement. It is not. You should believe everyone saying that their Miele seems like it is heating a lot more. I just switch back to the real thing, and I can already see the difference in increased flow and the Miele doesn't heat.Comparing it with the real thing, which is a true HEPA filter, this one has half the number of pleats per inch. The material also feels cheaper and rips apart a lot more easily than the real thing. Together, this means that this poor substitute does not captures as much particles, since it uses a different material and has lower surface capture.Then, the carbon filter is not appropriate or an HEPA filter. It should be a carbon mesh that act as a pre-filter, the same thing that you see in air purifier. This thing is the old-style loose carbon pellets sandwiched between to soft mesh. While the mesh part can act as a pre-filter, the loose carbon doesn't help at in a fast air flow setup. Quite the opposite, it obstructs the air flow. That setup is typically seen in water filtration, and is sub-optimum for air. The HEPA doesn't need the pre-filter. The bag is a pre-filter, and the filter pad is a pre-filter.Finally, while it does fit, it doesn't fit as snugly as the real partOverall, I do not recommend this. I don't think it will brake you Miele, but I want my $800 Miele to perform optimally and clearly this poor replacement was affecting it's performance. These are vacuum filters. They are designed to filter debris in the vacuum. My expectation is that they will filter debris from the vacuum and my expectations were met. Since I expect vacuum filters to filter, it would be hard to exceed my expectations. The best possible compliment would be to say my expectations were met and these vacuum filters met my expectations. 5 stars!! So, in closing, if your vacuum filters do not filter your vacuum and you want vacuum filters that do, I highly recommend these. As for delivery, I expect things to be delivered soon after I order them and these were, in fact, delivered. 5 Stars!!

Easy to install. Great alternative to the more expensive brand name version. Gave 4 starts instead of 5 because it doesnt have the change indicator like the brand name AND you have to be careful when installing/ changing as to not poke a hole in the black mess part of the filter. Otherwise the charcole substance can spill out. Otherwise these have been perfect for us and I plan on buying them again vs the new brand.

This looks just like the original and fits into my Miele C3 Calima without a problem - though it took a little jiggling to get the filter in correctly. It seems to work just as well as the original. Of course it's hard to tell since I don't have anything to measure the allergens in the air - but even with seasonal allergies including to dust, I am not finding a problem when I vacuum. There is no smell and the suction is as good as always, so I am happy with the filter.

It is not suitable for S4 (Miele Polaris S4212)!Works good in my Miele Complete C3.

Quick ship and fits my unit perfectly (measure so you order the correct thickness) .... saved me lots of $$!Only complaint: too much plastic tape on the packaging ... can't recycle the cardboard box when its covered in tape ...

forgotten how powerful our vacuum really is. I replaced the HEPA once and spent like $60 bucks. I'm sorry, you just cannot expect that from people. This Works Great, Fits Great. Thank you.
