Valuetoner Remanufactured Ink Cartridge Replacement For Hewlett Packard HP 92 & HP 93 C9513FN C9362WN C9361WN (1 Black, 1 Tri-Color) 2 Pack

The HP 93 color cartridge printed 11 sheets before my 5440 began sending error blinks and refusing to print anything while the HP 93 cartridge was installed. Removed the 93 cartridge and the printer works fine. Install the 93 cartridge and the error light blinks and the printer will not print.EDIT: As I was pulling out the rest of the items from the box I noticed a small alcohol wipe with instructions on the package to use the wipe on the cartridge chip if the printer throws errors. I rubbed the wipe on the contact chip furiously then reinstalled. The cartridge now works fine.UPDATE: The color cartridge worked fine for one day. Now no matter how vigorously I clean the contacts, the color cartridge will not work. I got two more sheets printed before it quit. Guess you get what you pay for.

Color cartridge causes error instantly 99% of the time. Printer won't even work for black & white when this happens. Have only managed to pull off a few printing jobs and have spent hours fussing with it, and those came out much lower quality than I hoped for. Cleaning, reinstalling, troubleshooting, etc. Just spent another hour screwing with it, which prompted me to write this. The company is costing me something, so I figure I should cost them something. Bottom line: Its garbage, and a huge pain when you have a crippled printer when you need it to work for something important.

I am giving them five starts because for the most part I have been very pleased with these. I did have a set on two occasions that did not print pictures well but I contacted Valuetoner through Amazon and they contacted me about the problem. They replaced the bad cartridge at no cost and I could not have been more pleased with the customer service. Since these last a long time and print as well as the manufacturer cartridges I am very pleased. They are about a fourth of the price of the manufacturer ones. I have an HP 5440 deskjet printer.

I ordered Valuetoner color (93 & black 92) cartridges, and had bad print quality (extremely light) after installing both. I was contacted by Valuetoner regarding my opinion of their product. I explained my printing issues and they provided some possible solutions. I tried what they said to improve the printing, but it turned out the black 92 cartridge does not work at all. I let Valuetoner know and I've had no response. As I need my printer for tax forms, I've been forced to order another set of cartridges from Valuetoner's competitor.

These cartridges 92 and 93 have always worked fine in my older h/p printer been buying them for years. The quality is good and the price is great, I will continue to use them. Value toner stands behind their sale if there are any problems they are easy to deal with. I have always had great results.
