These capsules are easy to swallow and help with my neuropathy pain. I will continue to purchase this product.

Worked but I ended up buying another product that had a stronger dose.

If you have trouble swallowing big pills or just want to have the most potent form of this particular antioxidant, get this R-isomer version. The same is true for vitamin E (although they usually call their R version "d" or "D" but the notation means the same thing--it's the "right handed" molecular configuration. You'll notice the cost per milligram of single isomer supplements is more, but they work more effectively and also you're not diluting yourself with ineffective molecules.

I’m just writing this review for those who aren’t yet aware that ***R alpha lipoic acid *** is the ONLY active form. (Just remember R = REAL) I got ripped off until I was informed through an online forum, and I fact checked it thoroughly. The fact is, the synthetic form of alpha lipoic acid (aka S alpha lipoic acid) is NOT active. You can’t even buy a mixture of both forms— the synthetic form cancels out the natural form. Supplement companies have been ripping off consumers for years by using the cheap form which is COMPLETELY USELESS! My legs and feet were numb and tingly from mid calf down for at least two years and it was driving me crazy. I was taking the wrong form for probably 8 months —religiously— until I learned the truth. I’ve been taking the R form for 4 months now, and I’m really getting results. My feet and lower legs are 90% better now, and really only get numb when I’m lifting weights or have had a very long day on my feet. (I’m 60.) I hope this helps anyone who needs it. And please—do your own research as well!

Top Shelf Quality at a Fair Price!

It's sometimes difficult to tell whether a supplement is making a difference in your health. After using this product, I didn't notice any difference. I recently followed up with this manufacturer regarding a publicized concern of phthalates in some supplement manufacturers supplement coatings and they responded that they were unable to disclose whether there were phthalates used in their products as "any detail beyond what is listed is proprietary and confidential". I will be looking for an alternative for my next purchase. Three stars due to uncertainty, but they are easy to swallow and were a good price compared to others.

Good supplement for foot nerve relief

Used it now for over a month, and I believe it's a great product

This one actually works! I’ve tried a few different ones with no response to my neuropathy pain, this one made a difference within two weeks of taking it. It’s a lot more expensive but it’s worth it

Taken in combination with Benfotiamine to deal with nerve/pain issue in the feet. Highly recommended but I couldn’t really tell the difference after having used it all. Maybe the manufacture could add some information or recommendations on effective dosages and what to expect.
