Masterpiece! If you have issues with finding a specific language pack, then this review is for you.
Game is amazing (You all know that this game is amazing, come on) delivery was fast and I had no issues at all. But... If someone have issue with language packs and PSN region locks, then this review is for you. As a person who lives in US and who speak Russian, sometimes trying to find a game with your native language is a big pain, because of Sony stupid policies and region locks. (Same with Skyrim creation club and mods, cross-play etc.) Let me explain. I got Complete Edition on PSN during Days of Play 2018 for 14$, Complete Edition have same content as a Game of the year edition, however, CE does not have a Russian language on it, not even text was translated. GOTY was released in Europe and CE for North America, as I understand. I have my old Russian PSN account that I use mainly on PS3 and I though that I can download a language pack from there for CE but after my system download it, it would not install it. (Because it’s have to be specifically for CE or GOTY, Russian PSN have language pack only for regular version. Same with the saves file, if you played Witcher 3 on regular version and decided to get GOTY or CE to play with all DLC’s, oh sorry but you have to start a new game) Russian PSN does not have GOTY language packs because it was not released there. I realized that I have to get Game of the Year edition which was released for Europe. I had CE Witcher 3, but I never played it due to English text and translation (Don’t get me wrong, English as a original localization is amazing and probably the best LORE representation of Gerald. Gerald there is more calm then in Russian where he yells SYKA BLYAT, but I guess I was just nostalgic and wanted to have something closer to the heart, especially Witcher game) I played the first 2 games on pc with Russian translation. I am a big fan of original books written by Andrey Sapkowski, which I read in Russian. SO, I got GOTY. Text in game was In Russian on my NA PSN account. But NO RUSSIAN localization, no CYKA and no BLYAT!!! I remembered my Gran-Granpa, that was eating Nazi’s on breakfast during WWII and his words when I was a kid, playing chess with him: - “Never surrender, kid, persistence pays off.” So I just checked in Google, Russian language pack GOTY and one of the search results PSN pages was at EN-HU domain, HU stands for Hungary. So, I created an additional PSN account on the system and chose Hungary as a country of origin. I went to PS store and found GOTY edition of Witcher 3 and under the adds-on tab I finally saw what I was looking for... Russian language pack, GOTY edition. I opened a bottle of very expensive Vodka that I was keeping for some very important reasons and celebrations in my life, I cut a big piece of great stake for my home bear pet, he got so happy that he started to ride his unicycle around the house and playing balalaika. Right now I can finally enjoy Witcher 3 on PS4 at my Native language with Russian text and speach on my NA account, which is main. (Keep in mind that you have to keep additional account from which you downloaded a language pack on your PS4 system, but you don’t have to play on it, or even logging there ever again, just keep it on a system. You can play Witcher on your main account and enjoy region locked content, which in this case is a language pack. Same with DLC’s and other content for other games) Off-course, you can say that I could just go to torrents and download this game with any language I need, no issues on my PC for absolutely free. if I do that, we might not see another games from CD project Red, this is one of the studios that deserves our money and our respect for their hard work. Pirating their games is like harming a little puppy, which is not cool and might get you killed by Baba Yaga;) (Boogeyman) I hope you found my review helpful:)

Good fun!
I'm 53 years old at the time of this writing... a man that grew up with AD&D and Atari and did the majority of his "gaming" during the 20th century. So, take my review for what it's worth. This game was great... lots of fun. It played well (maybe a little fumbly with some mechanics from time to time, but no "deal breakers"), looks really good (it's a few years old now, I believe), has decent story lines (though I care more about game play), etc., etc. If you like medieval-style fantasy that's reminiscent of Dungeons & Dragons in an open world format, and you're old enough to think every video game is pretty darned incredible, then you'll like this.

Great game, but buggy
Lots of fun once you get into it, but the game crashes a lot, and often whole cut scenes have no sound. A shoddy finish for a game that otherwise obviously had much love and care poured into it. Save often!

Best game
One of the best games you can play, graphics, mature story, gameplay - all of that combined works well.

Can be activated on ps5 for ps5 goty version
Bought this for my girlfriend, she was able to activate it on her ps5 for the ps5 version. She played all the dlc and is now a huge witcher fan. Can't wait for the next game to come out so she can play as Ciri

Super Spiel. Es ist immer eine Frage der Vorlieben ob ein Spiel gefällt oder nicht aber die Arbeit und Sorgfalt mit der dieses Spiel entstand geben diesem Spiel die höchste Punktzahl!

Without doubt, the best RPG on the Playstation 4. If you haven’t played the Witcher or the Witcher 2 before I would recommend at least reading up on the background stories. The Witcher 3 weaves many of the events of the first two games into its storyline, introducing characters that appeared in both previous games, and plot points that are directly related to decisions you made in the Witcher 2. The game allows you to simulate the choices made in the Witcher 2, so as to preserve some of your own personal decisions in the last game. It’s not necessary, but it certainly enhances the experience if you know what occurred in the previous games. The world is vast and diverse and the progress well-paced. As you begin to tire of riding around the vast wilderness of Velen, you are introduced to the city of Novigrad. The quests within the city, the gameplay, has a completely different character to those of the wilderness, with issues more political, actions more covert. This change in tone and pace come again once you move onto the next area, the Skellige Islands, where the vast wilderness is replaced by vast seas beneath which underwater wrecks, treasures, monsters, and puzzles, lurk in the depths. Combat is action based, but does require some tactics when facing off against particular foes. In combat, you rely on three basic elements; your swords (Silver and Steel), your signs (magic), and potions. Swords can be enhanced at the blacksmith, coated in poisons and oils, and upgraded using runes, and combat skills. Signs consist of defensive (Shield/Slow down/Control) and offensive (Fire, Telekinetics) skills, which can be altered as you upgrade your skills to produce new effects in and out of combat. Lastly, potions can be crafted by gathering recipes and ingredients from across the lands. These can enhance your combat skills in numerous different ways, from increasing your speed, adding regenerative effects, to slowing down time. Potions, however, come at a price, for they poison the body, and too much toxicity makes you vulnerable to damage. Certain monsters are vulnerable to certain combinations, and when hunting particularly difficult creatures it’s generally best to prepare the right oils and potions for the fight. Knowledge is as good a weapon as your Silver sword. 10/10 – If you like RPGs, and you haven’t’ played this, it is a must buy.
