WOW. No need to strip, sand or prime. This paint is amazing.
This paint is a winner by my standards !! I just finished painting my 60 + year old dresser, and it is gorgeous. The dresser is solid cherry, but the finish had gotten very splotchy.; .it either needed to be refinished, or painted. I’ve never been a fan of cherry, and it would be difficult for me to get the dresser to someone who refinishes furniture, so I decided I’d try painting it. I read the pros, cons & reviews of several products...especially since I wasn’t planning on “stripping” / sanding or priming the dresser, and decided to give this paint a try. Boy, am I glad I did ! The only thing I did before painting was to wipe down the dresser with damp paper towels. I expected I would have to stir the paint, but that wasn’t needed. Not knowing how many coats of paint it might take I opted for the gallon. (I’ve got lots of paint left) . my dresser is 48” wide and 40” tall. The coverage is amazing, it dries quickly, and there’s no odor. The cherry finish was a med brown and I chose the Bone color paint). I opted to use a 3rd coat, but 2 would have been sufficient. Time to finish the project (from wipe down to done) was just under 2 hours...an additional 10 minutes to wash the brush & roller applicators. The easy application, coverage, and finish have given my old dresser a new look. A few floral transfers and I’m done.

Smooth application, nice color
Nice paint to work with, good texture, doesn’t dry too fast and goes on smoothly. It washes up easily with soap and water. This project was going from dark brown to this light gray. I used 3/4 of the can. It required 3 good coats. Big improvement after the 2nd coat but not full coverage. In the past I have worked with other brands. I needed a bigger can and used a self leveling paint from Home Depot and also one from Benjamin Moore. I painted a bedroom set that was cherry and then the balusters on a multiple level staircase. This paint does not have the same luster as those but is comparable in application ease. For general appearance, the other brand paints are exceptional and have passed the test on durability. I will be anxious to see if this paint scrapes off with usage, it was easily scraped off prior to the 2+ days of cure time. Now I don’t want to test it, but my grandson will soon enough!

Painting game changer!!!!
I bought this paint after reading some reviews. I was going to paint my builder grade bathroom cabinets. I really didn't want to have to go through the whole sanding process, especially after I did that with another nameless brand in another bathroom and it was miserable. Also the other brand paint didn't really hold up that well and had started chipping/scratching after only about 2 days.I bought this and immediately was thinking it was a splurge based on the size of the container and the price. I thought this was going to be gimmicky, but I'd give it a try.I have to eat my own words because this is hands down THE BEST PAINT I HAVE EVER USED. I have painted so many things in my life and I am now 100% sold on this.Literally everything about this product is worth it!First of all, the can is the nice plastic material that is so much easier to open/close than metal cans. There are pretty much no fumes associated with it - something that I didn't even really think about or notice while using (which just goes to show you how non-noxious this was if you aren't even noticing it at all). The paint application was just top-notch. The consistency is thicker (but not too thick) and smooth. It is not runny/drippy and also doesn't splatter easily. The coverage is very consistent and just looks fantastic. And while I thought the can was "small" - a little goes a long way with this paint. I painted the entire cabinet in the bathroom and only used about 1/4 of the can. I literally think I did 1 full coat and then I just went back and touched up some areas just to make sure I had a full coverage. Also the color is very true. I got Iron Gate which is black....but it's a nice creamy charcoal black. It has a lot of depth to it. I am actually really excited to try some of their grey colors because I have had poor luck with true greys at big box stores..This is hands down the best paint I've ever used.

Best project i have done
Okay i was nervous to do this because i really didnt know if i could pull it off bit it worked out great. It took me 2 cans to finish the job but it was so easy and only took 2 coats and i think the color looks really nice i clean the cabinets here and there and no paint has come off. And i didnt need to sand anything. I just cleaned really good to get any grease off. And also didnt need the finishing paint

This is a great product!
Very pleased with how this project turned out. I got the paint overnight. It is a little different than other paint so there was a slight learning curve. The video tutorials on their website helped a lot. Mostly, the technique is different, but easy enough to follow. The color is beautiful and coats well. Easy to clean up spills and drips from the vinyl peel & stick tiles I also installed-just used a wet washcloth. It did not stain. One issue I had yesterday that I need to fix today is that I closed the cupboard doors and they weren’t completely dry I guess. I had to pry one of the corners just a tiny bit but it took a small area of the paint completely off. I don’t think this would have happened had I sanded and used a traditional paint. Not a big deal though-I’ll just try repainting that little area (size of a dime). This is the reason for taking a star away. I do worry that it may be easily scratched and reveal the brown underneath.A little goes a LONG way, especially if you use the “stippling” method for the first coat. I bought a 32 oz. for my master bathroom project. I used 2 coats and still have just under half left over! I intend to use this product again when we do our kitchen cabinets.
