A nice mid-priced, good quality food that my cats like. I noticed the fur of some of the feral cats have become downright presentable, and they are sure to be on the porch for breakfast and dinner. In my head it's reasonable to assume that since their outsides and demeanor have improved, their insides must be better now too! We're all happy.

We have used the individual portions version of this for our cats for a year now, they like it. I thought I was buying the smaller cans of this, because they generally go through about 2.6 oz and I figured the 3.3 oz cans would be just as good because I couldnt find the ones in the plastic in this flavor, but I received the 5.5 oz salmon pate instead. No problem, I have lids, and they eat this every other day. So, I opened the first can, split it, put it on a plate and chopped it up. They about knocked me over trying to get to it before I got it to the floor. I turned my back to place a lid on the can, put it in the fridge, looked back, and it was GONE! With the stuff in the plastic, they would nibble and pick at it all day. We've had a few cats over many years, and typically, any food that went to the refrigerator would get snubbed if it was put on a plate the next day or even later in the same day. Cats don't generally like cold food. We were proven wrong this time. They responded exactly like the first time I put it down. I guess this is their preference. Cans from now on!

I've been using other grain-free brands and decided to try this one, as we have 5 cats, and this one comes in the larger cans, which is a tremendous savings. I checked the ingredients, and they seem to be the same as the ones in the more expensive smaller cans. The cats love it, and there was no problem switching them. Since the ingredients are so much the same, they didn't get sick, have diarrhea or other problems that switching can entail. I will be re-ordering this one.

Had a problem with one of the can, pull tab broke & we’ve only used 5. A couple of our kittens are transitioning from kitten food to adult food.

Great price for the amount and size of the cans, usually give my cat 1/2 can I'm the mornings and dry food in the evening. No stomach, or digestive issues from this brand. My cat comes running when she hears the can being cracked open, she loves it.

I just received this cat food today and I was wondering what that perfumed smell was when I opened the box. One of the cans is dented to the point of being compromised and it’s as if someone sprayed it with something to clean it or used febreeze on it to hide the smell. This appears to be more of a manufacturing issue as the cans in the middle have dents. I ordered toothpaste and spray bottles with this package and none of that was damaged. At least 11 cans are dented. I’m going to email Blue Buffalo and will update this review if or when I get a response. Edit for update: Blue Buffalo did respond to me within a week or so. This is their response “ We unfortunately have no control over the storage and handling actions of our distributors and retailers, and because there are at least a couple of touch points after the product leaves the manufacturer, it is difficult to know where this damage may have occurred.” I understand that except there were dented cans in the middle and it didn’t appear to be repackaged. They offered treats in exchange for my address so I didn’t respond. They did apologize but I’m not buying this again as my cat didn’t like it after a week or two, he was having trouble passing stool and I noticed there are 3 binding ingredients: guar gum, cassia gum and carrageenan. Switched back to his good ole fancy feast chicken pate and he has been happy ever since, licking his plate and potty time is better. Fancy feast also only had guar gum in it so that makes me a little happier as well. Sorry for the long read. Hope this helps.

Normally my cat loves Blue Buffalo, normally I get the chopped with gravy. I accidentally got the pate and he won't touch it. He is not that picky, but won't go near it. I'm not sure what the difference is other than no gravy. I'm sure this must be tasty to some other cats, my cat won't touch it.

It's expensive but the ingredients aren't as sketchy as most wet cat foods.
